whitebirkin, do you have more pictures of your tricolor ostrich? I am so in love with it, and would love to see more pictures if possible.

I know what you mean when you said you prefer matte croc birkin rather than the shiny ones. My 35cm shiny black and 35cm shiny miel can seem a bit intimidating sometimes. It's so in your face, if you know what I mean... :) So I think this new baby would be a good addition to the family. It'll be the subtle and quiet one, I suppose.

Is your 30cm matte rouge H also lined with toile? I know that your matte vert olive kelly does.
You did the right thing. It will be one of the best bag in your collection darling. If it were sz 30cm maybe I might be interested in buying it too. You will love it and maybe staring to go for more matte croc. Both my birkins matte croc, anthracite and rouge H have the toile lining. I can't wait for you to have it in your hands.

I'd love to meet up, but I'm only going to be there for two days, and have got tons of doc's appointments... so let me check my schedule first and see if the time permits. Will let you know, my dear.
I will be counting down with you!

THREE MORE DAYS!!

No worries. Just let me know.

plum blossom: sure thing, I'll post them for you as soon as I got a chance to take more pics!

ILML: I've always loved matte croco, especially for the size 35cm. I prefer the shiny ones for size 30cm though. With a size 35, I usually go casual, and carrying a shiny 35cm is just too in-you-face for me :)) Just haven't gotten a chance up until now to own a 35cm matte croco. That's why I'm super excited now! hahaha. But I think for you, size 30cm IS the perfect size! Lucky you, you can go both matte AND shiny! Wow, your anthracite and rouge H crocs must be really special then. And knowing you love them so much, makes me feel better also about purchasing a toile-lined croco bag. Thank you, dear ILML!

What do you think, ladies?? I hope you think it's nice?

Anybody else has a croco birkin with toile lining???

First, congratulations to you, WB for you new matte croc baby!

I personally prefer matte croc birkins and aside from my 25cm black kelly, 25cm croc birkin and my croc kp collections, most of my H croc bags are matte.

My two matte croc baby birkins are twins to ILML's antracite and rouge H. Like hers, both have toile lining. I bought mine 5-6 years ago. I got my rouge h first and after meeting ILML and seeing her antracite IRL, I made it my mission to find one for myself. To this day, I regret not buying the indigo one. And it was relatively inexpensive then, about half of what the boutique is charging these days!

The new matte croc birkins that I have gotten all have chevre lining. They tend to be a little stiffer/heavier. But nonetheless, they are gorgeous!

Am looking forward to your action pics!

The A/W collection has already started to come in, and it seems like a good color to wear for the cooler seasons (although where I live, the seasons are pretty much the same all year long--hot and humid).
whitebirkin, sorry for my late reply
Yes, regarding that, my Mum had a vert olive HAC in 28. After a few days, she realised that the size is just not for her (too small). So, her friend who happened to love it so much at that time wanted to buy it off her if she was willing to sell it. After much thought, she did. So sorry about it, so I'm not able to post any pics of it. Just found out when I asked my Mum about it too yesterday. Apologies
Anyhow, I'll be counting down too! I'm excited for you and show her to us in full glory ok

all about bags: wow, your croc collection sounds divine!! Please post pics for me if you have time... Would love to see action pics with toile lined matte croco, now that I have one! Hee hee... I agree with you, the price is outrageous these days ... I too regret not getting into exotics much earlier. I could've saved lots of money...if only, if only !!! Anyhow, would love to see action shots of you and your matte anthracite and rouge H!!

How did I miss this thread. WB, what an amazing Birkin collection you have! Love all the different color and leather in your Birkins. Which one is your favorite? which one is the most easy to wear?

thanks, bbbochap and mrs.s!!!

It certainly takes some getting used to... the skin on the matte olive croco is so supple and soft, it's SO different from my chevre-lined ones!! And, the bag is very light! It's quite amazing to see how much difference the feel and look of this bag compared to my shiny ones.

mrs.S: the three colors of my tricolor birdies are: black-etoupe-gris t and rouge vif-orange-rouge H

Thank you lvsforme! Congrats on your lovely gris t birkin! Saw your action pic, and it's beautiful!
Hmmm... which one is my favorite? I think it's most definitely my 35cm pink croco! As for the most easy to wear, my 35cm black ostrich! That bag is tough!
