I love all your bags. You have great taste in the most delicious croc colors - you have all my coveted colors. When I grow up I want to be like you; correction, when my wallet expands... Thanks for sharing. I imagine what joy and fun it's like to wake up every morning to see your cute DD - oh my, she is too cute for words. I'm not saying anything original, but I love your constant updates and please send some more hugs to your darling DD and bags

Whitebirkin, I am not sure too. I hope it won't take as long as 3 months too (SA said the craftsman jus back from Leave (fr France) and has a lot to clear) but like you said, I will have enjoyable time looking for twillys in the meantime.

I saw something that I like in eBay but alas it is overpriced. And also this season H color nt much purple? I am not sure, but just now I couldn't find any twilly that I like in H Taka. Maybe next time I will visit Liat.

Yup, after I got the 2 different design but similar color twillys (and hopefully able to tie it like yours), I will post some pictures . Hope they works ...

Can't wait to see you post some action pics with your new bag! Are you sure you have to wait 3 months to have it cleaned? That's a long time... However, you can always go shopping for those perfect twillys in the meantime! I think your idea of using 2 different styles but in similar color sounds interesting! Let me know how that works out, and I might just follow your trend!

HI WHITE BIRKIN ....MY GIRLFRIEND HAD A OFFER FROM HERMES A 30 CM NILOTICUS CROCODILE MATTE POUSSIERE (Iguesslike yours..).....SHE ASKED ME IF NILO WAS DIFFERENT IN COLOUR FROM MINE THAT IS POROSUS BUT I DID NOT HAVE ANY ANSWER.....I GUESS ARE THE SAME BECAUSE THEY DON'T LOOK DIFFERENT TO ME......LOVE ANGEL....

White Birkin, or any other lovely ladies in this forum,

Would like to ask your expertise, You know in countries as humid as Singapore and Indonesia sometimes when we don't use our bag often (because we rotate our bags and sometimes get stuck with certain bags), leather bags can get moldy? How do you store your bags to prevent this?

White birkin, I need advice on this. How do you store you birkins to avoid the leather turn moldy? Especially those leather birkins that you really seldom use.

Do you use dehumidifier like (I am not sure if you know) Hungry Hippo (a dehumidifier brand in a container that you are suppose to replace when the water level reach certain level)? Thank you so much in advance

w.y.h: yes, the humidity is a bummer, isn't it? I store all of my H bags inside their dustbag (with the exception of my whites, which I store inside pillowcases in case of color transfer from the H Orange dustbag), inside a closet. It's very important to store each bag with enough space in between each bag (not squeezed together), and I always fill each bag with air-bubble fillers or filling papers to maintain their shapes. Because my closet is inside my dressing room, and the air condition is always on, the humidity is not so bad. However, I still put tons of dehumidifiers (similar to Hungry Hippos), on every rack, to make sure they absorb excess moisture. I know it could get extremely humid, especially during the rainy season!

Angel: oh I see... I think the main difference would be on the size of the scales. Your porosus birkin would have smaller scales than a nilo one like mine.

nafnaf, transcendent1: thank you, I really appreciate your kind words!

ILML: you are such a sweetheart, my dear... I'll definitely give DD a big hug from you. She'd love to play with your nieces, esp. ms. 3 yrs-old, cuz they're about the same age! Anyhow, I still have a lot to catch up on my lizzie collection Still intimidated by their small size, but your pics have inspired me more and more!!

Thanks, sweet Joy! Yea... DD looooooves drama! She's actually appeared in a few magazines already... one where she's catwalking for a jewelry line, and another in an international pre-school ad. She loves all the attention!!

Ooops, forgot to answer... yes, it's Chanel. It's not a skirt, actually. It's pants, but with very wide leg, sort of like a long culotte...
