Amazing collection. I started collecting a few years ago, and your collection is TDF. I hope to catch up.

Yes, if you use it without the padlock, it'll be so much lighter! I don't really use my denim JPG that often... I'm embarassed to admit this, but the bag is kinda heavy... But I love it regardless... Btw, what kind of leather is the potiron JPG birkin that you're thinking of buying? If it's in togo, or clemence, it'll be lighter than barenia...

Juicykenzie: thanks!! I got my birkins from all over... Paris and Bordeaux (France), Germany, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Japan. It doesn't mean that I never got "rejected" also... believe me, I had my shares of "no Birkins"!!But as long as you're relentless, you're bound to hit the jackpot! Sometimes when I'm lucky, like when I was in Paris, I got two Birkins in 2 consecutive days! My advice is to always drop by the H store wherever you travel... you never know!

Thanks, Fiorucci! Because most of my collection is non-exotic, they're in the range of US$6800-9300 (depending on the year they're purchased, or currency rates). The JPG is the most expensive non-exotic birkin that I have.

Yes.... It is heavy... But keep in mind that mine is in barenia and denim, so it's also more structured and stiff, when carried on the shoulder. If it's in clemence perhaps it'll mold more to your body, so it'll definitely be more comfortable! Although it is heavy, considering recent trends of large-sized handbags, nowadays most of the popular handbags are also heavy... So I think it's just a matter of choosing which heavy bag A few years ago I used to think the 35 birkins were so big and heavy... but now, it doesn't seem that big or heavy anymore because other bags like Chanel, YSL, Prada, or LVs are just as heavy, particularly the leather ones...
