hi white birkin! im a new member to the forum. i'm thinking of getting the jpg birkin in potiron clemence. do you get a lot of use from your jpg? i read in another post that its very heavy. how do you compare its weight to the 35cm togo birkin? any input will help! thanks!

Yes, the JPG birkin is quite heavy, but I think it also depends on the type of leather used. Mine is barenia and denim, so the barenia as well as the larger hardware makes it heavy!! And I don't even put the lock on... as you know, the lock for JPG birkin is BIG, and it's really heavy !!! If you're thinking of getting one in clemence, I think it'll be a bit lighter than mine. I don't think the JPG birkin is that different in terms of weight to the 35 togo... unless you put on the huge lock that is One good thing about it, though, is you can wear it on your shoulder... so it's a better bag than the 35 for shopping... you've got two free hands!!

thanks for your advice! if i use the jpg birkin without a lock, it will be much lighter? im considering bidding on the potiron jpg birkin that creatures de lux has up for bid. i love the color and the price is not so bad either! do you get a lot of mileage out of the jpg? thanks so much!
