Hi Ms. Piggy: The one that I use the most is the 35 Black. I just find it safest to bring everywhere since the color and leather is the least stain and scratch-sensitive. Other than that, I also use my blue brighton and etoupe slightly more than the others.

I would like Black and Etoupe as my basic birkins too. How do you find the Cognac? My friend has the 32 HAC in Cherve de Coromandel in Cognac and its stunning. I find it brighter than Gold and not as loud as Orange/Potiron.

I got the Cognac when my husband went to Germany for a business trip, and I asked him to drop by the nearest H store, and there he went. Just by chance, he told me over the phone that they have a Birkin in Cognac, so I told him to get it.

Yes, you're so right! Cognac is similar to Gold, but has a deeper tan to it. Your friend's HAC is no doubt stunning... cognac in chevre coromandel... the color would really pop out! She's very lucky! In the case of my Birkin, the color's a bit more subdued because the leather is Epsom.

... It is really hard to see the difference between Gold and Cognac, especially if you're only looking at pics. Anyways, its Cognac size 35.

It's no longer just Birkins now... Finally, I broke my "Birkin-only" rules and decided to be more adventurous

... I recently bought this new addition from Francis at Le Monde du Voyages, making it also my first ever online H purchase! I'm SO excited and hope that I'm making the right decision. The bag isn't even shipped yet; Francis had just informed me via email that he's shipping the bag this afternoon (Paris time).
This is a pretty new experience for me (I still can't believe I finally did it! OMG...) and I have all of the H thread members here to thank, all those who have posted on the Post eBay Finds thread, the H resellers thread, and members who were kind enough to PM me. In particular, I'd like to thank licencetocook, whose picture carrying a red Constance bag, was the reason I bought this bag! Thank you... I never thought I'd buy a Constance before! Seeing it on you makes me realize how beautiful the bag really is.
