Dropped by my local H store today and saw this. Normally I would never buy a veau doblis (because it's so humid here!), but I saw the color and just loved it. It's rouge moyen in veau velour doblis...

WOWW whitebirkin you are such a brave girl. i never ventured into vert doblis especially in a handheld bag as suede is so fragile even though i have suede shoes but alas i just feel i am weird that i have no problem with suede anything but never trusted myself with a h suede so ignore my babbling i am kind of dizzy today
please if you use her report back how she held up !! ah and congrats my dear what a lovely cute clutch i adore rouge moyen it is sublime
again enjoy her she is gorgeous (just like you)

Lilach: I don't blame you, my friend. Just like you, I too am terrified of suede (even worse cos I don't have suede anything!). This is a first! I'm still questioning my decision at the moment... but the color totally blinded me! It's like raspberry

... and I'm such a sucker for these kind of colors! Wish me luck... I'm hoping she'll hold up pretty well. I keep on telling myself, it's ok, it's ok cos it's just a small purse... should be easy to take care...

MrsS: thank you! This is such a big jump for me! Not only did I just buy a KP, but a suede one at that! The color just makes me melt....

I never thought I'd care for suede but this beauty proved me wrong! Don't worry, with 24/7 AC, she'll do just fine

my friend i totally understand you some veau doblis colors a sublime that is why i was often so sad i loved the color but could not overcome my suede angst . so yes please report back and then if you can deal with it sure i can do too and get the colors i always wanted !

again it is really gorgeous

That color is stunning and I think the material will be a nice change for you! A KP is hardly a day bag anyway, so you can keep it for swank evening occasions when you'll be indoors with lots of AC anyway?

Saw a lovely 20cm kelly in dolbis last year in the most lovely shade of turquoise (i think) with gold hw. Couldnt get over the phobia of suede so passed on it...sigh

Whitebirkin that is a beautiful KP. The only doblis thing I have is a belt (in beige no less, so I have been holding my breath) and so far so good. I love the KP especially when carried by the handle, and when you do that, I think it's less wear and tear on the bag itself than if held as a clutch.
