cant wait to see your new family photo, WB!

i reckon the decision to go mostly exotics is brilliant! though it might be a smaller family but they will be all mighty drool-worthy for your personal collection!

Good choice to go exotic Whitbirkin. The exotics combine so well with your choice of clothing.

If I would ever posess an exotic Birkin (yeah right... dream on...) I think would not use it for everyday because it is sooo beautiful and precious? What is your experience Whitebirkin? Do you use your exotics like you 'regular' Birkins?

thanks 4 the support, bbbochap and monica!

Monica: actually, depending on the color and style of the exotic bag, it can be an "everyday" bag. Like the vert olive croco that I recently got, it's really sturdy and can fit a lot of things... so that one is definitely an everyday bag. My black ostrich is another one. That bag is just super! It's more than just an everyday bag... it's like a staple bag for me :)
On the other hand, having said that, my RI croco is still sitting nicely inside its dustbag, never been carried! I revere it too much to actually use it! Talk about an everyday bag....

I'm glad you liked my birkin family, nightshade! Thank you!

You should definitely post more action shots with your gorgy ebene kelly. You really carry it well. That bag is truly meant for you.

WB, I have to admit here that you are the No. 1 Birkin 'inspirer' to me and I MUST ask you what I need to do to be able to own birkins like yours

I have to pick up some 'charming' tips from you before I fly off to Paris

ps Maybe I should take some modelling shots with my Her bag which I have put aside after getting the JPG SB...

lol, WB - and i can't thank YOU enough for clicking that button and removing the temptation. i simply cannot carry a clutch, but that bag was so beautiful that i was this close to buying it anyway. i can't wait to see pics of you with it!

monica: whenever the occasions call for a pink bag, I tend to carry my fuchsia birdie rather than the RI. Just couldn't bring myself to use it! I'll probably wear it to my DD's college graduation... (yeah, in 14 yrs time! Hahahaha)

geminisparklers: Glad to be your enabler, my dear! Am glad my hard work is finally paying off! LOL!!
What do you need to do to be able to own birkins like mine?

Well, lets see:
1) Prepare to burn a hole in your bank account (err.. make that a BIG hole).
2) Prepare to NOT have a bank account.
If these two things don't deter you, then:
3) Know your territory well: observe areas in the house good for hiding new birkins from DH's ever watchful eyes...
4) Create an ally: get your DD to luuuurve birkins (DD = the apple of DH eyes)...
And if all else failed...
5) Arm yourself and corner DH into total submission.
LOL!!! You know I'm just kidding, right?

DQ: the new additions are starting to arrive in Singapore, but unfortunately I won't be there til the end of the month. But I promise, pics, pics, pics once I get to see them all! How's my stud Trentino doing btw? Hope he's doing much better and all is well!
