Whitebirkin, you have an AMAZING collection! I can see why you are admired by your friends, people on the street and within TPF!

Congratulations on your newest Birkin baby. Your vert olive is really gorgeous. Very understated chic.

I am relatively new on this blog and I have admired your collection but also your chic action pics!!! You are truly a style princess.

Could you please give me some advice as a Birkin stylist
In September last year I received my first Birkin. A 35, Clemence in Graphite. It took me a while to enjoy it (how on earth can anyone spend so much money on a bag!!! WHAT was I thinking). And I can relate with Megs (see her post on this topic). Now I am happy and I admire my Birkin every day (Oh, my god I must be crazy! Luckily there are more crazy people on TPF; I can recognize myself in them!!!). I have just ordered my second Birkin (though I thought owning a Birkin would be my last stop... And it is; I only want it in many colors. Uh oh...) in 35, Clemence Etoupe as a lighter basic.

Owning my first Birkin for just a few months... And having ordered my next Birking just now... I already thinking about my third Birkin. It will be my last (yeah... NOT). I am now looking for something more frivolous and dangerous. I usually were black (oh, how basic), dark skinned and I own a lot Chanels. I thought yellow would be just the light and dangerous color for me to combine with black. Light but scary! Until I read that yellow is one of your favourites?

Do you wear it a lot now that you have your pink beauty? And how do you combine it?
I was also considering Bleu Jean, though I was not a fan in the beginning. And a lot of Birkin lovers seem to have BJ.

I hope you can answer my question. Enjoy your family (oh, how lovely is your daughter!!!) and your life filled with Birkins (especially your newest addition). I love your vert olive and your pink croc!!!! sigh.... As croc will be out of my league I can just drool over yours!

Monica, you've made excellent choices so far, all on your own! What do you need me for? LOL!!

Thank you for your heartfelt compliments... I really appreciate it. Honestly, when you're carrying a birkin, it doesn't take much for people to admire you. In fact, people rarely looked at my face, their eyes just went straight to my bag... so actually, my birkins serve as great diversions for bad hairdays and racoon eyes!!! I could really get away with almost anything when I'm carrying my birkin!

What you have now, the graphite, is such a great birkin to have as your first! Congrats!!! Must be tough to beat that one! Etoupe as your second is also a great choice, since it's also another beautiful neutral that has both gray and brown undertones. Now, for the third... Jaune??? OF COURSE!! Hahahaha who wouldn't want one??? I'd kill for one if I didn't already have mine. Although at first one might think..."yikes, it's yellow!" but surprisingly, H Jaune is quite neutral and matches well with lots of colors. It's like a ray of sunshine to any assemble you wear it with!

See???? You really don't need my help... I pretty much would make the same choices as what you've already done. One little thing though... personally, I think BJ is lovely, but I'd prefer a blue sapphire or bleu roi if given a choice. But that's just me

Best of luck on your quest for the next, and the next, and the next birkin! Trust me, we've all been there! Crazy and obsessed over H bags! Hahahaha. Do post action pics so that we can all admire your graphite, and your etoupe when it arrives. I'm sure before long, you'll accumulate many more birkins (and perhaps other H bags too), especially with all of us here at the PF as your enablers!

Hugs, WB.

Thank you for your extensive reply WB!!! It is so sweet of you to spend so much of your time to keep us up to date on your lovely outfits and 'next Birkins'!

Thank you for your personal style advice!!! There is so much choice in colors and leathers, that I needed some confirmation on the yellow!!! Thank you!!! Yours is courcheval? Do you recommend that for jaune or would you go Clemence? And is the new 'curry yellow' similar to jaune?

What is your favourite ehm... 'normal leather' if I may ask, for a Birkin? Or do you pick your leather with the color?

I soooo like the understated chic of the Birkin, don't you? I visited the hairdresser last week and the other customers were admiring my Birkin. But they clearly did not recognize Hermes. They were asking me all kinds of questions and one of the ladies asked me where she could buy one. I reffered to Hermes but told her that the bags are not 'of the shelf'. She was really shocked on hearing about the one year (or more) waiting list. She hadn't heard about that before. And then she asked about the price. I never tell the price of a Birkin unless someone is really pushing. So I just gave her my mysterious laugh. The started guessing and concluded that it must be about 1.000 euros's. hahahahaha Oh. if that could be true!

What is your current WB top 3 in terms of new Birkins? No... no... don't tell me you have a top 5 list already!

And yes, I guess you are right about the next next next Birkin. This is a serious addiction.

My pleasure, Monica! Glad to be able to help.

Yes, my jaune is old, so it's in courchevel (they make the newer ones with epsom to replace courchevel). I've seen the color swab for jaune clemence, but didn't like it as much as I like jaune in courchevel. Somehow in clemence it's a bit more muted. On the new color Curry, for me there's no comparison! Definitely jaune over curry any time!

My favorite leather for a Birkin is chevre coromandel. The spine just melts my heart, and i really like its glossy effect. I think bright colors really turns out beautifully in chevre coromandel. Next, I like small grained togo, the ones with small pores with "veins" all over.

My current top 3 of the moment (heehee)??? Well, you're right. It's more than 3!! You can just see my wish list... but if I have to choose only one, then it'd be a 35cm violine ostrich with GHW. Next, a 35cm blue roi porosus croco with PHW. Ultimately, a 35cm matte white porosus croco birkin with PHW. hahahahaha...

Do tell more of your H stories!! Love to hear how people is just drawn to a birkin!

Thank you Whitebirkin. You are sooo sweet. How nice to read your top 3 which is secretly a top 10??? You are definitely into the exotics. They are really one-in-a-million-special.

Thanks again for you personal advice and I hope to see lots and lots and lots more of your new Birkins AND your model-worthy-action-pics.

You seem to have a very active life in every aspect. Now where do you find the time to pick the most gorgeous outfits and bags AND share them with us!

Hugs from Monica
