Thank you so much, this is a very liberating & encouraging advice! Like what you said about carrying a birkin, same goes to men carrying candy bags, clutches, wearing scarves!

No need to feel uncomfortable. In HK, very few men carry birkin but what's the problem with carrying it? I don't think so. I am very happy with my bag and do not feel uneasy when I carry it. The only moment that I am uneasy is when I am carrying a delicate leather piece.

Hope you will enjoy your bag with great enjoyment. Be yourself. U live for yourself, not others.

Personally, imo, I find the 40cm Birkin a rather masculine and utilitarian bag. I think it's a refined and smaller version of the Haut à Courroies which was used to carry saddles. No need to feel a shame or uncomfortable carrying it in public. Life is too short to be concerned of what other people may think. As one of the famous French phrase says "Honi soit qui mal y pense" (which means "Shame on him who thinks ill of it") .

Enjoy your wonderfully made bags. Incorporate it in your lifestyle and own it. :)

actually Vincent, i've seen several guys in Thailand carrying the birkin. they carry it well. i don't think you should feel uncomfortable at all, it's a representation of your style. thailand is very fashionable in its unique way as you know.

Great quote jaegerhomme! Here's another I thought of: "To thine own self be true" Act 1 Scene III Hamlet. Any lad who owns a Birkin, or any other H bag for that matter, should carry it with pride and joy and you'll always carry it off well.
