^^^ LOL

fugly!! I agree, he seems to "lift" ideas from others. And the bags, IMO, look like old ladies bags. Sorry Marc Jacob's fans.

Why does MJ make such a fool of himself?

I too used to think MJ designs were fresh and colorful, but I think he has let his personal life get in the way of good designs.

Obviously any hint of "good taste" has gone by the wayside. I mean, just look at this classy photo:

...yes, that is Marc Jacobs in a "Camel Toe" costume. Pure taste.

I saw this MJ oversized pouchette (as they refer to it) also featured on Bergdorf's site today and I could not believe my eyes. ..........Ugly and a total rip off!!!!

I am shocked at the negativity of this forum!

Marc Jacobs is a genius. He's won numerous awards, not to mention the CFDA ones and has single handedly turned Louis Vuitton around. He's quirky and doesn't take himself too seriously!

Just because this bag isn't your style (guess what? I don't like your style) doesn't mean someone else couldn't rock it.

Follow the golden rule that your mother taught you: if you don't have anything nice to say, DON'T SAY IT AT ALL!

TRL, I guess we are just having a bit of fun....I was anyway. I don't like this particular bag but I am a huge MJ fan in general, love his clothes and shoes... most of my shoes are MJs.

To me it is one thing when a non-designer for a discount store does an inspired bag, but when a DESIGNER rips off another design house, it really shows a lack of originality.
