I suggests calling ahead to find out if Manuela will be around so that you can personally show her and discuss your concerns. Sometimes she maybe off on weekends.

Thanks Jaeggerhome! Yeah, I don't want to get down to Rodeo and have them tell me to come back in a week! :) Of course, I do want to pick some stuff up! hahaha. :)

LA has one craftsperson. I guess the bags sit and wait when she is gone?

You're welcome, Philip. I just called a while ago and was informed Manuela has gone to the podium for 2 weeks. I was planning to stop by today to have a couple things fixed.

Default Loose Thread Update And *sigh* A Reveal!!!!!

So, I just got back from Hermes. Indeed, Manuela is in France through next week and then will be in Chicago to refurbish a WHOLE LIBRARY decked out in Hermes leather. A side note, my SA told me about a client who is having a house build in Bel Air which will have ALL Hermes leather throughout the house! Crazy, right? Anywho, they told me that I can use my bag while the thread is loose. The position of it does not effect the construction of the bag itself, so it's safe while I use it. They said to call back in two weeks when Manuela is there and that she'd be able to restitch that one part on the spot while I'm there, so that's great.

However, with some extra time to kill I decided to take a look around! :) I walked out of there with a Globetrotter in red (don't know the specific red) box calf, two blank notepad refills, and an elephant padlock! I'm really only literally am going to be eating toast and cereal for the next week! :)

Now, I consider myself a smart person, and if I play around with it for a couple of more minutes, I'm sure I'll figure it out, but how do open the Elephant padlock? I went to stick the key in, and I couldn't find a place to stick it! Any help on this puzzle would be much appreciated! Thanks again everyone for your input!
