I've bought some items from Asia and always wonder why they wouldn't standardize their receipts worldwide.

From what I know and shopping at different H stores in the US and Asia, each Hermes store seems to have a different type of receipt issued so you're right about the lack of standardisation at the POS terminals. However, I think it has been discussed on TPF before that receipts can be and have been routinely faked (either stolen or taken from someone else's real receipt). This is why the Hermes stores do not base the authenticity of their goods from a receipt, even if it's a store-issued one.
I think the key issue here is getting a pre-loved Birkin authenticated (not the receipt). Focus on the bag, not the receipt.
OP, I would probably trawl reputable reseller websites to have a gauge of what a fair and reasonable selling price for the condition, stamp, colour and leather of your choices would fetch in the market. But ultimately, it does depend on how much you're willing to fork out. Good luck!
