I wish it was as easy as going to H and saying....."I'll have one of these please. Let me know when he's delivered."

OMG. I said/thought the same thing when I bought my first LV bag!

I wished I could get a boyfriend just by saving and if I've already saved enough, I can buy a boyfriend off the shelf.

(I don't know if I've said this before and if I did, forgive me.) Suffice it to say that the quest for my first Hermes bag is a metaphor for the quest for my first boyfriend. Really. Even my going to Paris, being denied an SO and almost being granted one during the second day I went there: that is so parallel to what happened to me recently with the guy I was dating. I thought he would be the one.

OK, I'm getting melodramatic. Enough about me.

Awwww, allanrvj....

Just keep in mind that that's the story with all of us... it's always a hope deferred until it's finally finally the hope fulfilled. But when the hope is fulfilled, how much we do appreciate and cherish and love the one we've waited so patiently for!

I can't wait to see you get your dream HAC and your dream man.

I just want to add, because I can't edit my post above.

Soundtrack of my life.

For my future bag and future boyfriend (just the chorus, LOL).

Well, today I skipped on over to Neiman's to pick-up a bottle of Un Jardin Après la Mousson.

I think it'll keep my mind focused on Hermes & my future birkin purchase! The curry color in 35.

Suzie, Thank you for the suggestion. :)

Allan, I know that you'll get your dream HAC and
a boyfriend to share it all with. :)

BlueGenes, Good advice. :)
'Hope Deferred' would be a good name
for a musical group. :)

gelbergirl, Is this your first time trying that
fragrance? There's no such thing as a little H
reveal. :) Your dream grail Birkin sounds stunning.

It's NOT official, yet - but a little birdie will share with you in this thread:

As soon as credit card information can be relayed
talking to a live person and not done via voice or
emails, the package will be on its way to me!

(no, not from Hermes, but Neiman's instead)
(thanks to Jag's SA and her assistant there)
BlueGenes might know what this is.
