Hi there ladies! My name is Creole, I'm from the Philippines and I'm a 20 year-old graphic designer. I just graduated last March so I have little to nothing in my savings account I discovered Hermes by accident (I knew Hermes but I wasn't such a big fan before) when I was looking for used LV's in a friend's re-sell site. After one long look at what I believe is a Rose Dragee Birkin (I'm not sure) I fell in LOVE with Hermes.

I lurk the TPF Hermes forums just gawking at the beautiful bags (Birkin is #1, Lindy is a close second!) hoping that one day a large ORANGE paper bag will be sitting on my bed just begging to be opened.

*sigh* This is something I don't want to be cured of! Thank you TPF for fueling my obsession!

Valencia, I love the Karo collection. It's so varied and colorful. I think I'm going to have to track down a Bleu Brighton or RS at some point because they are so so handy.

I wonder how Allan is doing in the city of lights.

BlueGenes, Eulalia, lfg, and _bella_ - Thanks for the kind words. I am so in love with my new Violet Karo that I kept looking in my purse just to have a quick peek. After the 3rd or 4th time, DH set her on a little table in the middle of our livingroom so I could easily see her as I moved about th house. Now that's what I call enabling an addiction!!

Anyhoo, I use the smaller one for nail file and clippers, lotions, and meds. I use the larger one for my ladies stuff, kleenex, contacts case and drops, Altoids, and my reading glasses. It took me a while to figure out which to use for what but eventually got it figured out. I think Kallie Girl mentioned that she keeps her cell phone in a Karo and others have mentioned keeping keys, iPods, etc. in theirs. Basically I see them as yummy organizational tools so I don't have to rummage around in purse when I want to find something.

Was thinking about allanrvj this morning as well. Hope he's having a great time in Paris and his trip to FSH was all he wanted it to be.

Welcome Creole! Congratulations on your recent graduation. If H is your thing, you have come to the right place for info and moral support. And I eagerly await your first reveal!

Hi! I've been lurking in the Hermes section for months now drooling at everyone's bags...& only now had the nerve to admit to myself that I am INLOVE with everything Hermes - most especially the bags! I always thought, "why spend so much on a bag"... looking through this section and at everyone's photos...made me realize "why not!" - Hermes like jewelry, is a keeper! It is a gem worth saving for.... so now i start my "journey" to make my dream of owning an Hermes bag .. a reality... Hopefully, soon i can post my own little reveal :)

I've been looking at Lindy (the 34 size?) as my 1st H bag... Is it hard to find in stores? How much is it??

Thanks to all!

Valencia - love your karos. Unfortunately, you have now given me the idea that I need a s/s rainbow and a f/w rainbow! LOL! Yet another reason for me to give Hermes all my money. I don't know why my paycheck bothers to stop with me - I should just have it forwarded to Hermes.

Thanks, Florasun. Don't know where the idea of s/s and f/w rainbow came from but now that I have the idea, I can't let it go. ITA on forwarding the paycheck to H. By other postings I see we both live in the PNW and I must say I am a little fearful of when H will be only minutes away.

I must say I feel the same way! I wonder how long I will be able to loiter in the store before they throw me out. I can see it now. "Oh no - her again??"

I thought that now that I have my first H bag, I wouldn´t need another one for a while. I was wrong. I just ordered a preloved bag. Now I must stop. Maybe I should stop reading tPF until I found my self-discipline again. I wonder where it went...

I always get that paranoid feeling. Especially since I feel like I'm drooling and the voices in my head are saying "I think I'm drooling, does it show on the outside??" I wonder if that's why my SA is always offering me something to drink when I walk in the door?

I have to agree, it is easy to get blurry vision after reading TPF for a bit. common sense flies out the window and you step into an alternate reality where DH's, bills, and real life don't exist.....just glorious orange. La Vie en Orange
