I had too much time to think today at work. I made a list of the bags that I like. They are: Picotin, Massai and Trim. I would also like to have a H watch. Hopefully it won´t be that boring tomorrow or my list will grow and grow...

lfg, I read that you are waiting for a red Birkin to arrive. I can´t wait to see pictures! And for the Picotin problem, I think Picotin looks amazing in nearly every colour!

lfg, please do a reveal. :)

Eulalia, great bag choices! :)

I finally have a reveal of my very own:

Who wants to dream a little dream with me?

Eulalia - I can identify, totally! At first I thought I would be happy with one Hermes bag. Then I thought I would be happy with at least one Kelly. I never was a Birkin gal, but yikes - now I think I want one.

Hello All! - Have finally been able to catch upon this thread. So much has been happening! Congrats to all who have just acquired and/or SO'd new treasures.

Eulalia - I honestly believe H is a lot like good chocolate or fine wine. You think a taste of the best will do but instead it makes you crave more. And like all good things it either makes you broke or fat.

Florasun - Thanks for the comment on the Georges V pic I posted a while back. BTW, I think tPF secretly conditions the mind to want a Birkin. When I first became active on tPF, I felt (and still feel) they were completely impractical for my lifestyle and yet I find myself wanting one - just one.

Kelly_Birkin - Can not wait to see your reveal from your H.com order. Also, would love to hear about the experience.

allanrvj - When do you head to Paris? I can hardly wait to hear about your visit to FSH. 4 glorious days in the summer in the City of Light. Am soooo jealous.

As for moi, I finally heard from my SA (after almost 2 months of waiting). My Violet GM Karo is on the way. After thinking I wouldn't get one, I am going waiting for it. When it arrives, I hope to have finally reached Karo Nirvana. For my spring/summer rainbow, I'll have a Violet GM and an Orange PM. For the fall/winter rainbow, I'll have a Rouge H GM and a Bleu Brighton PM. All in chevre. Hope to do a Karo reveal update soon soon.

oooh, valencia, your karo rainbows sound delicious! i do hope you get a chance to do a karo update, too - i love looking at hermes rainbows... i love the smaller hermes leather items, such a great excuse to fondle leather in bright, beautiful colors

allan, i hope you'll start a thread about your fantastic sojourn at FSH, even if you'll only be placing an SO. i can only dream of what it's like to be there. do you think you'll leave with at least a small H souvenir?

yes, I definitely will. I'm going to buy one or two pieces in leather, not only because I need them, but also to make it easier to place an SO, I hope. I'm leaving tomorrow and will get to enjoy Paris the next day because I'd be arriving there at 11 pm.

will do the thread when I get back.

xoxo

valencia, well, I really don't have an experience, per se.
As I did it over on Hermes.com - but I can't wait for the
day I get to walk into my Alaska!! :)

I just want to give a shout out to RBB, who started this lovely and therapeutic thread, and now has her own Birkin.

See? Dreams can come true. Where's Ernie?

Allan, you rock. And you're right! I waited 9-10 months, learned a little patience, and it finally paid off!

I can't wait until your HAC comes home and we all get to see it!

I'm here allan! Still in the dream world and quietly reading the threads. My partner and I are going to New York in the last two weeks of August but I haven't saved enough yet to purchase my dream Steve bag. With the expected price increase in August, I'll probably purchase smaller items.

Have fun in Paris and don't forget to check out why that certain belt buckle that Ranag (I think) bought a while ago was named after Philippines. I was born there too!

I'll be waiting for your pictures and stories about your first SO from the mothership. I would love to own a HAC too in barenia and toile. Sigh...

haha. My guess was off by 3-4 months. What the heck, now you have your Birkin! and it's damn pretty.

9-10 months is just like... a wait for an SO! I can do that. And so can you, other people who are waiting. Patience and faith everyone! We can do this. We can make it happen.

xoxo
