Thanks Kelly_Birkin and allanrvj for the encouragement. I have a Jack Spade messenger bag right now and I use it everyday -- like you said, a workhorse bag. I'm still saving up for it but I don't think I will have enough when we go in August especially that we'll be spending while visiting New York.

A little something in an orange box would be nice to bring back home though.

harleyNemma, the waiting is the hardest part. Luckily you got your order in. It will be so fab when you get the call.

Ernskie, do visit H on your travels and get yourself a little treat. It will be so nice to take home a little orange box.

Ernie, and if you can't buy your bag - maybe a wallet

littlesnowflake and Kelly Birkin, I think that I will most likely end up getting something small. The other thing that I haven't thought about is coming back and having to pay duties and taxes for all my purchases! Ugh...

I've thought about that but I have to declare the value of it for insurance purposes in case something happens to it. Hhhhmmm... maybe I could just use the item I purchase and ship the box to my residence.

Voila! Thanks for the idea Kelly_Birkin!

I'm a H bag obsessed girl. I got a birkin in Clemence in graphite but now I'm in love with a Lindy, a large 45cm in a beige color I saw at the NYC store. it was for 7000 and I was crazy but, really contemplating buying it. With the economy the way it is it seems crazy huh? So I decided to save but now I've saved the money I feel I'm being spoiled. Maybe I will wait till my husband pisses me off. help me what should I do???

pocketyee, if you've already saved up and have the money for it, get it now. Don't want anything upsetting associated with your Lindy. Just happy celebratory thoughts.

Ernie, no problem. :) If it were up to me everyone who wanted
H, could have H .

hN, you've had some great reveals! The red interior
will really perk up the basic black!! Sounds
stunning. :)

Oh man, the boards are a dangerous place. Rather than satisfying me, I am discovering more things H to love. And so my list grows. I must keep in line with my original dream Kelly.

pocketyee, As long as you can afford it, I say go for it. :)
I'm sure you will love it. Look at the 'Show us what's inside
your Lindy' thread, that's very inspiring. I had no idea
on how roomy the inside of that bag until I saw those pictures.
You can really fit a lot of goodies inside. :)

littlesnowflake, tell me about it! There are
many H goodies to discover. :)
