Jewelweed,

I can't guarantee for accuracy (french lessons of my childhood...), but I think:
"Pochette Kelly 2 Mini Veau Swift Argent Pallard"
Kelly Pochette mini Leather Swift Palladium Hardware...
I don't see any mention of the colour here.
Swift is the soft leather, very nice to the touch.
I hope that you will love this little clutch!

Hi, all!

I was literally just about to make my first Hermes scarf purchase tonight (BIN on eBay) until I realised that other things have to take priority right now

Still, it's nice to read about all your dreams and purchases!

Little Tiger, On a reseller's website I once put a BJ
Birkin in the shopping cart. Then I stopped dreaming
and removed it. But for a brief second, I had a BJ Birkin
w/ PH in an online shopping cart.

Niiice! For some reason what you said reminds me of that quote by Alfred D Souza:

For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But here was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that this was my life. This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way

So if you know what makes you happy, and you plan for it and have everything in perspective, you can balance many loves and necessities (bills...family...Hermes..!!)

I have this dilemma where I have the funds, but the bag doesn't exist! Well, for the right price, any way. I'm really not being that picky (like, how about one for $8k, instead of $10k USED?). Dream bags (which my hubby and I have financially started planning for):

+Raisin Birkin 30/35cm in Togo or Chevre {de Coromandel, Mysore}
+Sapphire Blue Birkin 25cm in Epsom

Do they make the Karo in these colours, or can I have them custom-made? Probably some scarves to go with.

Little Tiger, Great quote. Or as Suze Orman says, people first, then money,
then things.

lumchan, I do remember seeing a Karo in raisin. Check out the Karo
thread. & Isn't sapphire one of those special order colors?

Bearing in mind that I had no idea exactly the colour of bag my dear fren helped me purchase, and that I was kept in suspense for over 48 hours.... my breath got caught in my throat when i saw the peek of a light lilac...
.. it's my modest start to an Hermes collection.... a Kelly pochette, in a shade of perfection.
