Woo wee ... Can't wait to see the Shoulder Kelly and JPG Birkin II. It's great that Hermes decide to reduce the length! I find the early version is a tad too long.

The shoulder JPG birkin will officially be replaced by the shoulder JPG Birkin II. The bag will have two pockets inside (one meant to be for the cell phone), the HAC style closure will be replaced by a real Birkin closure, and the bag will loose some of its width compared to the old JPG Shoulder birkin in order to fit better under the arm.
My SA told me about the new shoulder birkin a few months ago so I was disappointed that we didnt see any examples on the runway. What gives?

Looking forward to the new JPG Birkin II - seems like they are listening to their clients' opinions on some of these pieces.

I loved the color palette of this collection but hate fringe. Always have and always will.

pursenality, if you're refering to the JPG Birkin II, I think trama turgo mentioned H is reducing the width not the length. If I am not wrong, it will still be 42cm. trama turgo??

I am sorry if this is a bit off topic, but what is the difference between the HAC style closure and the Birkin closure?

with the HAC closure (on the jpg birkin and the larger hacs) you will have a visible plate underneath the enclosed strapguides + with the newer models and some vintage ones a square turnkey

Queenie: You are right! I've just re-read TT's comment. I got excited too early .
