^ I won't be home on the 20 - 22nd.
But hopefully, I'll know my RAOK name
before I leave for my required ECE conference.
If not, and the hotel doesn't have available
free computer access, I'll check in on Wednesday,
when I return home.

I can't wait!! Saligator is correct, RAOK always
seems to come at the right time. :)

I just want to add something that I hope will inspire some of you to participate especially during these hard financial times!

This is purely about doing Random Acts of Kindness for your secret buddy. This is not a competition to outspend one another, but to send a small something to let that person know you are thinking about them and to brighten their day. The gifts DO NOT need to be extravagant at all, but rather thoughtful or even charitable if you like. So please, remember the true meaning of what ROAK is all about as we go on this adventure once again together!

Jag, reading your post reminded me of all the times sweet bagluv had sent me little notes with her little thoughtful gifts, and just reminding me that I am loved by her and her family!!!! That means more than anything, because lip glosses and perfumes get used up but the love of friendship doesn't.

ITA and as another lady said, the gift can get used up but the note can stay with me forever.

So well said ladies.
