OK. In front of all the gorgeous purse gals here I'm going to admit: I've got no business being in the Hermes forum... I don't know a Birkin from a Balenciaga, (my bag cost me $79.95 at Myer, forgive me, I'm a shoe gal)... but I do know that that bag is drop dead gorgeous and the lady who will be wearing it, equally so. Congratulations Megs. Oh God, I think I want a Birkin.

I went to the store one day 1 of being in NYC. There were TONS of BJ items out, but just not a Birkin. There was a BJ Lindy that I tired on, just not quite what I was looking for. A Brighton Blue Kelly, again beautiful but not quite it. So I told the SA that I loved Blue Jean and that was my dream, and she said that she would keep it in mind. I asked her the process- and she said anything on the shelf anyone can get.. so I said, Ok I will keep coming back!!

Next day I get a call from a tPFer that there is a BJ at Hermes!! I rush over... but it is gone, and was with Gold hardware. So it wasn't meant to me. I checked the other store, still nothing.

And the next day... I went back to Hermes... had a really good feeling. I walk in and the SA tells me 'You will not believe what we just got in!!!!"

So she brings the beauty out- a 30 cm Blue Jean Togo Birkin with PH. My DREAM bag!!! She opens the box, and I nearly faint. It was mine!!!

It was fate and lots of luck. I am still in shock that I have this bag. I will tell more later!!!!!!! But that is the story of my beautiful dream bag!!!!
