I would love many more, but not probably not in the near future.

Why are asian women sterotype to be purse fanatics?

Speaking of Cecilia Cheung, has anybody seen "the promise"?
I love Jang Dong Gung :)
I think it just somehow worked out that way. I'd like to think that Asian women appreciate quality, so materials and designwise. Or maybe it's the whole idea of saving up for a bag that will last forever, both by being indestructible and forever classic.

All this talk about Hong Kong is making me itch for a HK trip as well.. I miss the shopping.. and the FOOD !! Oh what I wouldn't give for a piece of smelly tofu.

All I know is when I talk to friends or coworkers about bags and how much I adore them, they just roll their eyes and said thats because your asian. What does that have anything to do with it??? LOL

Ayla, I haven't been to HK in ages (at least 4-5 years), the shopping and food there is the best!

I am so jealous that you were just there!!
My friend went back for chinese new year and I gave her a list of things to buy LOL!
No matter how much I eat in HK, I always lose a few pounds when I get back. I think its because all that shopping and walking we do.
It works out perfectly!

You should go back in the summer...when it's absolutely BOILING. All that shopping/walking/sweating really helps you lose pounds.

Oh god! I ate up that sh*t...I love sappy series!! Not a good idea during finals week though...haha.

And Cecilia Cheung was not that skinny in Fly Me to Polaris. But she is SCARY SKINNY now. Her legs are seriously like TWIGS...even on TV, which adds 10 lbs.!

I don't like the "skinny Asian" stereotype. I'm glad that I'm built exactly like an average American woman*...that gets more double takes than 90lb sticks. :) At least in this country!

I can't wait to go to HK and go on an "Hermes run!" Gigi, thank you for all of those addresses!

I agree with all of you guys.......HK is a wonderful shopping place. From international brands to local brands especially Shanghai Tang........love the dresses and the bags too!!!!!

Regarding about Vixy posts.....why are we purse fanatics?? I think all women in the world are purse fanatics especially cute designer goodies.
It's a woman instinct.....just like a diamond ring from your darling.....gosh........thinking of that, when will my boyfriend give me a diamond ring???

By the way..love Coco's blue jean birkin. Keep posting more pics girls.......love all the birkins. I think Asian women have excellent taste.

I think you can get the birkin much easier in the HK store. I just assume... Since my mom got her choco ostrich birkin there and she has been waiting forever in Singapore. Is that true? I am getting a birkin at the end of this yr for my graduation present. Hopefully she's going to find one for me..
Really???? Is it true??? Yeah...I've been waiting for my birkin for so many years in Singapore. I can't wait to grab a birkin. Looks like, I'll have to go to Hong Kong to get one. As for Japan, my friend who lives [a birkin fanatic too.....], said there are many stores reselling used birkins. I don't think I want to wear a used birkin. I prefer new ones.

Gosh.......when's my dream birkin will come??? I want a croc fuschia birkin. I saw a croc fushia Prada luggage bag today. Gosh......the colour is so nice.

I think they are friends coz' they walk together in a group. 2 in black crocs, 1 in pale rose, 1 in blue croc, 1 in rouge and 1 in MY MOST FAVOURITE ONE......Fuschia croc. That's my dream birkin!!! I've been waiting for that!!! Gosh..when will I ever get one???
