Hi Hello,
there is a great 5* hotel which gives good rates for weekend:
-Style Hotel at Herrengasse (ex Radisson SAS) -great location, great hotel
4*:
-Hotel Kaiserin Elisabeth- newly renovated, good prices
-Hotel Astoria- good prices, next to Sacher

I try my best to come to Vienna this time as well!!!!

Hi Everyone on this Wien Hermes Blog:
I just retured from Wien and indeed I was in the Hermes Graben store on Saturday from 4:45 pm until 6:15 pm, the manager Frau Elfie and Herr Okura kept the store open so that we could all meet. My friend, Ilona was buying the black Hermes flats and our freind Frau Anastasia was there also; we were up at the ladies RTW on the second floor as I menionted in the blog. As I came in I saw two very attractive ladies on the first floor looking at scarves, I said to Herr Okura I wonder if they are the "purse ladies blog meeting" and the two ladies did not respond. We three Hermes ladies stayed until 6:15 pm and then went to Fabios for wonderful gruner vetliner and then on to the Seccession and then finally to the Blue Bar.
What a disconnect!
I will be back for the grand reopening in October, I was in the store on Wednesday before I left for DC and it was a mess, had to take the elevator to the 2nd floor. But it will be very lovely when completed.
Also, I will be back in November for meetings for my Austrian charity.
If all you Wien ladies want to try meeting again, please send me a pm message or just talk to Herr Okura or Frau Margrit, they know how to reach me.
Best to everyone and hope we can all "hook up" again in lovely Wien.

Perhaps - depending on when and where we meet - we should all carry H bags with a twilly tied to the bag? That would make it perhaps less embarassing....

well this is like ships "passing in the night" the lady who returned the Birkin is my firend Ilona and I was the one in Hermes RTW top to bottom with the 38 cm Trim II; our friend Anastasia had the Chanel couture jacket on with jeans - very super model, she is!
Wow, sorry that it didnt work out since you could have come to Fabios with us, then the Secession and on to the Blue Bar.
But I will be back for the party and also in November. I also went to the Prague store on Monday, October 1st and had the whole store to myself. They had more rtw, but no shoes, and the dollar is up there, so I did a bit of damage there.
Would have love to meet you, all my UN friends wanted to hear about meeting the Hermes purse blog ladies. Better than those diplomat and spy stories.
best to you in Wien today, I do miss the city, it is so much fun to grab a coffee from Meinl's and sit on the bench on the Graben for hours. Great people watching.
