Another is a wine bar that serve wonderful food--it has sexy ambiance....

Great suggestions EK! I've passed by the Purple Cafe a few times, and it was always packed. Nordstrom Grill is definitely convenient and pretty good. There is also Palomino about a block or two away from Pacific Place in the building where Barney's used to be. I can't remember how far it is from Pacific Place, but there is also Wild Ginger

Palimino's is good for a larger sized group....it is about three from Pacific Place...

Don't hate me but...I think wild ginger is over-rated. <ducks>

LOL! That's what I used to say, but they have a few items (not the ones they're always suggesting to customers) that are pretty good. Palominos might be a good alternative since it's definitely within walking distance.

Pursegrrl--so glad you can make it!
