Oh no! Oct. 10 is DD's birthday--that's why I can't come the next weekend, because we're going to upstate NY to party with my in-laws. I want to see you again! The rest of the month isn't a definite no for me, I just don't know how it's going to shake out yet.

If there is a Saturday or Sunday meet, I can come down to the city and meet up with you guys. I have a 2.5 year old spa gift certificate that I need to eventually need to use...

I'm looking good for any weekend outside of the Halloween one, DF's 60th bday party

Ok, let's pick a date and see who can come. How about Sunday October 26th?

Anyone interested?

I really would love to see everyone again, but I have a wedding on that date. (Actually, every October weekend seems to be booked up already -- birthdays and weddings galore!!) Have fun, everyone! Maybe when we do a Nov meetup I can make it!

Okay, just to clarify--it looks like we're talking about two separate meetups now, one when MissMargaux is in NYC, and one on a Saturday sometime in the next month or two for those who can't make it when she is in town but are usually available on Saturdays.

Here is what I'm thinking for my part: I can come next Saturday (Oct. 4) if anyone wants to meet me. I have to bring DD since DH will be gone, but she's pretty easygoing, so we can go out to eat as well as shop. Since I posted earlier in this thread, more possible conflicts in late October have emerged, but I can come on Oct. 26 to see MissMargaux and whoever if those don't happen. That looked like the best date for the largest number of people.

Of course there is no requirement that any NYC meetup has to work for me. And even if there's a meetup (or more than one) this month, we can start thinking about November too. But I am game for Oct. 4 if BlueGenes, elle tee, olive, and/or whoever else want to meet me (and there are several others I hope will come!).

I think you are right capulet. And if no one can come when I'm there this time, that's ok, I don't want anyone to inconvenience themselves. Hopefully there will be other times. I hope we can do something, but if not, then I understand.

But thank you you got it, I think there is talk of several different meet ups, I even saw November mentioned.

Capulet, I also think you're right. And I can also make both dates, the 4th and the 26th. Hopefully there will be others!
Should add, though, that on the 26th I will be recently returned from out of town and will have a lot of catching up to do, so I would be able to do coffee or something fairly quick, unfortunately a whole afternoon won't work for me.

I think I can come on Oct. 26 actually, for a few hours . Oct. 4 doesn't work for me because I have a wedding to attend, but I'd love to meet Miss Margaux, and see capulet again, and meet some other tPFers I missed the other time around.

Shall we set up something like tea on Oct. 26?

The only one I ever went to was at the Pierre, which is probably closed now. Any of the above three sound perfectly posh (ie perfect)
