Ok, I can do friday, but not saturday unforuntately The first saturday (October 25th) we will just be arriving and it will be around 4pm

The second saturday Nov 1st I can't. I am taking a good friend to a broadway matinee and lunch, she just had a double masectomy with a cancer recurrance and this was planned months in advance to have something to look forward to. She is coming in for the day from Mass.

I can do friday October 31st or thusday October 30th too

Friday the 31st is not great for me because I will probably want to be back home in the early evening (it's a 1.5-2 hour train trip to NYC for me) for Halloween. It's DD's first real Halloween (well, she was around last year but she was only 3 weeks old), so DH and I will probably want to do the whole dressing her up in a cute costume and getting people to give her (i.e. us) candy thing.

Saturdays are my preference because the trains will be less crowded, and it sounds like most people besides me have to work on weekdays, so maybe those of us who live in/near NYC should plan a separate weekend thing in the next month or two, and then whoever is able can meet MissMargaux during the week when she's here?

That's fine, I could do sunday the 26th but we would have to shop elsewhere than H which is ok with me, but for others.

I will be happy to meet whoever is available but I don't want anyone to go out of their way either. I hope to meet some of you.

MissMargaux, the last two NYC meetups have been on Sundays because it's easier for a lot of people, and we had plenty of fun even without going to Hermes. So that's one option.
During the week, Thursday afternoons are best although I could make Fridays for a little while- I work on Fridays so I would be on my lunch break. Otherwise I'm in class pretty much all day, every day.
Capulet, I think that's a good idea- I would definitely be interested in attending that!

Sunday is fine with me even with no Hermes. I'd be happy to meet on sunday the 26th of October. I go home on November 2nd so that would be the only sunday.

I can do thursday afternoon too. The only days that really don't work for me is the saturday and Monday October 27th as I have too many appointments to get to.

Sunday works really well for me so if anyone wants to do sunday without H, fine with me.

I am 50/50 on whether I can come on the 26th. I am mostly a scarfie anyway so I don't mind just shopping at the scarf counter at Bergdorf. And the train ride on the weekend would be relatively pleasant. The only thing is, DH and I are planning a road trip for the previous week and might not be back in time.

Does anyone want to start a new thread for a Saturday NYC locals meet? I don't want to be the one to do it because I'm not actually local

and my weekends for the next couple of months are filling up, so I'll be hard to plan around and I don't want anyone to think it's my "thing" and it has to be a date that works for me (but I hope it does!).

I guess from the sound of it it won't happen. That's ok, maybe someother time. If anyone has free time, let me know and we can always just have lunch too. As someone else said we don't have to shop. I'm easy but I understand if it doesn't work as I say if not now then maybe some other time.

MissM- I'm always up for a meet but my school schedule keeps me busy and limits when I can do things. As we get closer to the date, I'll have a better idea of how much free time I will have that week/weekend and I'll let you know if I can do anything.
