Default Small question about ordering on Hermes.com

I figured I would finally register on Hermes.com - it didn't accept my first two attempts on giving my email (one had my last name on it and the other one had numbers in it), but luckily I had an address without my name or numbers in it.

My question is - Hermes stated that getting packages
delivered would require a signature. I'll be starting my externship
on Monday and I won't be home until after 5. In the comment
box, I gave permission that it would be okay to waive the signature.

Whenever I order from other places, I sometimes have to leave
a note on the door to tell UPS, I give permission to leave the
package by the door.

Does everyone have to sign for their Hermes.com
deliveries or were you able to waive it?

Thanks. :)

I had to have it signed when I ordered two scarves.
They don't ship to Canada so I sent it to my friend in the US. Someone had to be home to sign for the delivery.

I have previously signed a "signature release" with FedEx and maybe that is why they leave all my H.com packages... even ones that are over $1,000 are just left here at my door.

Thank you duchess and Kallie Girl,

The UPS driver usually leaves packages at the door,
after I left a note. And a long time ago, when
I used FedEx, I did sign a waiver. I think that was when
I was at my old address.

BlueGenes, A fragrance.

Sadly, I've had problems with people in my building (apt) stealing packages left in the lobby, so I go and pick them up at the UPS location. Where I live they are open until about 7 pm and also on Sat so it isn't too big a hassle...and far better than having packages disappear! I do the same with Fed Ex - and USPS too, come to think of it!

Some people are talking UPS; some are talking FedEx? Hermes.com only ships via one company in my experience?

Some time ago when I lived in the US they used to have FedEx as a shipping option along with UPS.

Thanks for the information. :)

Another quick question:

Can you order from another countries selection? I notice
they have "something" (hee, I have to keep a secret
for the reveal surprise!) on the European versions, but not on the
US. I can put it in my shopping cart, but if I log out to
go back to the American site, to get the other "something",
will it accept the UK order or deny it, when I try to process it?

Thanks for all of your help :)

No, unfortunately! There was something I wanted from the UK site and I emailed them and asked if they would ship to the US and they said they did not ship to the US.

Thanks, everyone. I didn't think I could order something
from the U.K. site, but it was worth a try. At least I can
order the fragrance that I want. :)
