Ladies- do not let him intimidate or threaten you. I would immediately report him to ebay if you can, and tell him to cease and desist from any further threads and harrassment. What an ass!

Jerk!! Poor K; it's terrible when ebay transactions go bad. Glad you reported him. I'm sure it's not the first nor last time he'll be reported. I have nearly bought stuff off him before. Thanks for warning us.

As I have stated previously about this seller, he sent me stained pochettes. Needless to say, I wasn't too happy. I was able to fix them up to be wearable. I decided to just move on from the experience and only purchase NIB scarves/pochettes.

I have had correspondence with him regarding sending the item back to him and obtaining a refund - so I sent it expidited back to Spain, and when it was delivered, he refused to accept it - so it was sent back to me!!

His correspondence has been exceptionally rude and abusive.....I believe, having done some research that I probably should have done prior to the purchase, that I am not the only one who has had a bad experience with him. Flossy and 24 Faubourg I believe have had complications as well (they could clarify this?)....

Anyway, from my experience, he is a terrible seller, and I would not recommend him to anyone!
GF & DQ, I am so very sorry to hear of your troubles with this seller, but can oh so easily relate to the treatment you are receiving.

This is my post from Aug 16th relating to my own personal experience with this particular seller

OT: I can fully sympathise with your situation, I was in a similar situation myself and got a volley of abuse, threats and insults into the bargain having spent a not too inconsiderable sum with this seller,he even went as far as setting up a copycat user id on eBay which he taunted me with!! hey ho, you live and learn, his loss in many ways.

Service has to be paramount to sellers along with authenticity - whilst Birkins are not as readily available as everyone would like, buyers do pay a premium and the least they can expect from a sellers is an impeccable standard of service ..... thankfully there are many reputable sellers on eBay who do just that, OT; you included

Thankfully whilst we have all probably had our share of eccentric sellers and the odd nuisance buyer, in 6 years on eBay, I have only ever had one looney-tunes seller and one devil buyer who was evil personified!

I hope you are both able to sort out/ignore this person and just put it down to a very bad experience. Heaven knows why he needs to be so rude to his customers, it takes just as much effort and time to be polite and courteous!

I am so fed up with ebay and the the Wild West environment of buying there. It goes both ways though. Because of these scamming sellers, when an honest person who was willing to give a good price on an authentic item tries to sell something, you get very few serious buyers and the inquiries you get asks many requests that are just jerking you around and really have no intention of buying even if you satisfy them with authenticity and color questions.

Back to topic, I purchased a new agenda from the seller that GF had a bad experiece with. I was lucky that the item received was new as advertised and the shipment was received on time. The true measure of a seller is how he reacts when something goes wrong.

With the exception of a handful of experiences, most of my ebay experiences have been awful. Before I got to where I am now, 3 times I was sold fake Birkins. I didn't have the benefit of this forum and was naive in thinking I could get a Birkin for significantly under retail (although I once did buy a Birkin from a seller who sold me a used one for under $4000 and it was in mint condition. It was 40cm fjord and was so heavy that I eventually sold to a reseller). The first one was a complete loss because I felt like a jerk and was too embarrassed to get authenticated as it was so obviously a fake. The seller turned out to be an alum from my high school and was now living in Germany. I think she was probably sold the fake and then wanted to pass it on. She claimed that she had been told that it was done by a craftsman who was retired from Hermes . A bunch of hogwash, but I was so new to the whole Hermes/ebay experience that I let it go and it was a small price to pay to start learning of the ebay ways. How I wish I knew about the authenticating resource here. Second time I bought from a Canadian buyer who was a nightmare to deal with. I had to get FBI and Canadian police involved because ebay is totally useless in trying to help you recover your money. She refused to send my money back and was asking for written proof from Hermes that it was a fake. I had to pay an appraiser to state that it was fake and she still would not budge. To this day, I firmly believe that the stress from that experience caused me to miscarry a baby. I was sick thinking of the money I lost and would never recover. Finally through the kindness of a Canadian officer, she was scared into refunding my money. I think she was a novice as she had luckily provided her real telephone number and address (in determining whether I was dealing with an honest person I had checked to verify address and phone number). Scammers can always find ways of scamming.) Then the third time, I purchased a Birkin using escrow and when I got the bag I immediately knew from the smell and look of the leather that it was fake. I returned it , reported the seller, and got most of my money back (minus escrow fees) and vowed never to buy from ebay. That was until I stumbled on this forum and regained the confidence to selectively buy based on trusted sellers. So to make a long story short, feedback from other tPfers is critical.

The trouble with this seller is that some people (who I would consider as an authority on Hermes goods) just LOVE him and give GLOWING references on him. And then we have stories like GF's where he just turns completely nasty. It's a pity because he does have nice items for sale. I prefer sellers who are courteous and respond to me in a civil manner also in a difficult situation and not go rabid on me.
GF and DQ I hope you can work out your issues and don't let yourself be intimidated by this bully!
