Cripes, what a drama queen and a loser...all at the same time...

I can only hope that his second book deal is based on sales of his first...and I hope he gets everything he deserves!

You are correct, and so i will.
this all stems from Grand Fonds and dressagequee (sp?) claiming that they had "horror stories" in their dealings with me. Grand Fonds claims to have had a four month dispute with me over a purchase.
she bought a lock/charm. paid with paypal. *Free Shipping* (as stated in auction).
i shipped, registered mail, the same day she paid.
three weeks later she emailed me asking where the package was. i tracked it on Correos.com (it was shipped from spain...that is the spanish mail website).
and i found it was sitting at her p.o.
i sent her the registered mail I.D. number.
she NEVER went to get it at her p.o.
then after three months!!!! no joke, she went and picked it up.
then she posts on the board that she had a dispute with me and that it took me four months to ship her the item....and that she paid "extra" for "expedited shipping". (she paid zero shipping).
fact is...i ship everything the same day people pay or the following. the p.o. is three blocks from my house. it's not an issue for me. i have the original email from ebay for end of auction showing clearly that shipping was FREE and i have her paypal payment showing she never paid for any shipping (even though in her post on this board she claimed to pay extra for expedited shipping. she didn't, she paid nothing.)

as for Dressagequee she bought a scarf from my on ebay. in the listing it clearly stated that the scarf had holes and in the photos it showed the holes, along with shiny new dimes placed next to the holes in the photos. either this person had to be blind or illiterate to not know there were holes...but i doubt she is either since she was able to post about it in this forum, however she did conveniently leave out the details.

so there you have it.
and if any of you want the proof to the above two statements just email me through my website...i'll be happy to send you all of the emails...i've kept everyone of them.

the listing was NOT clear -- you stated there were some "issues" at the point of one of the dog's tails, and the way the photograph was taken over the blue field of the rest of the scarf it looked like rub marks rather than holes. nowhere in the listing did you state "holes" - it was "issues". also, you disclosed ONE area of "issues" and when the scarf showed up there were also "issues" (translation: that means "holes" in *******-land) in two other quarters of the scarf.

as i told you at the time, at the end of the day i decided to keep it because i liked the color and wasn't sure i;d ever find it again. but you severely misrepresented the listing with wishy-washy language designed to mislead. and i can only conclude that YOU are blind or a scam artist (feel free to take your pick) if you could not see that the holes were disguised as a more acceptable "issues."

as far as illiterate, i'm quite capable in english, however con-man lingo, where "issues" is synonymous with "holes," and "at one point of a dog's tail" means "and in two other areas as well," is new to me and i'm only getting up to speed.

i don't see how your e-mails prove a thing, other than that you continued to mislead. it's too late to resurrect the ebay listing, and even if you could -- how to put this delicately? one can't be entirely sure that what you forward hasn't been tampered with.

Yeah, I love his explanations, DQ!

Unfortunately, I didn't take "******* as a second language" in college, so I'm going to believe our longtime, trusted, upstanding members.

I'm with RBB--DQ and GF are among the most upstanding members I know here, and for him to say that DQ didn't read the listing carefully is quite ridiculous for anyone who knows her. I was ambivalent before about his book, but am now quite appalled at the behavior I've seen here and wouldn't spend a dime to read it.

Funny you should say that RBB, DF and GF are "upstanding"...when in fact one of them in the past has emailed me with nasty comments but certain people on this forum. Not very upstanding if you ask me.

i have 23,363 emails in my inbox...i never delete:

the scarf we are talking about is Clerc's La Poursuite, from 1958. the buyer sent me a question during the auction, through ebay's system:
Item: Hermes Silk Scarf LA POURSUITE 1958 ~ CLERC (6786815336)This message was sent while the listing was active.where do the moth damages appear on the scraf (I.e. front left, center, bottom right, etc) Thanks!

then she went on to buy the scarf....clearly knowing their were "moth holes". did she ask for a refund after receiving it, or did she leave negative feedback? NO. then she writes this (a few posts back):
"i decided to keep it because i liked the color and wasn't sure i;d ever find it again. "

now, three years later she is complaining still (she bought this scarf in july of 2005).

If she is so upset about my misrepresting the scarf why not return it for a refund? but it's clear that i did not misrepresent the scarf....it stated in the listing "moth damage" and i showed photos of that damage. no one forced her to buy the scarf. (and she paid very little, btw).

as for Vlad...he clearly sets a nice polite example: "go back in your cave"...now that's very kind. no wonder my publisher doesn't want to advertise on this site. and, clearly they don't need to if the auction for my book on ebay (now at $801) is any indication of what's to come.
