For those true H collectors: http://www.ebay.de/itm/110844823176?...84.m1586.l2649

I purchased a Berlin bear from this seller several months ago and she sent me a photo of this piece and its history. Shame 35 is too big a bundle for me.

You sure know how to pick eye candy. That pink lizard is delicious. And love the ostrich.

Jane must of made a typo on that price.

thank you for taking the time to post and i totally agree with you esp b/c i bought this exact one yesterday at H in the US!

also, please take note that it states it is a private listing - why would someone do that?

I had one. I sold it a while ago. It's still fun to have the pictures though.

eBay sellers use a Private Listing to protect the buyer's identity. For example, the bidder's ID's might show up as something like h**p. That way, no one but the seller can contact the buyer about their purchase (which is nice to prevent fraud, or to keep gift purchases a secret.)

The drawback is that as a bidder, you cannot look up a challenging bidder's ID to determine if they are a legitimate buyer, or if they are just shill bidding to drive up the selling price.

What is with the crazy markup on the one on eBay?! You can still get it new on H.com for less than half the price.
