i called H toronto to puchase the bag and i was totally shock of the price !!

in london 30cm croco is around £18000 which is around 32000 CAD$ but the price in

the shop is 43000 CAD$ "pre-TAX"

<--- so DESPERATE :(

^^^ UK and Australia are among the cheapest places to buy Hermes right now because of how much their respective currencies have fallen.

Actually, $43K Canadian isn't that bad compared to Asian prices...

also, be sure you're "comparing apples to apples" porosus versus niloticus, glazed versus matte

The Hermes store at the Munich airport has a very nice selection of jewelry - lots of the enamel bracelets - good color selections. The prices were good too because you get the VAT tax back if you're traveling. I picked up the wider enamel bracelet with the "H" closure (sorry, I'm not up on the style names) which I've always wanted - got it in the red/silver.

I know that porosus is more expensive than niloticus, but is shiny more expensive than matte?

Chesnut croc? I find pelouse swift, the next neutral green after vert olive. Elegant color.
