Inventory update - What have you seen, and where?

I posted in Kellybag's thread, but there were several Bolides at the NM in Troy, Michigan. Trying to remember the colors, but I know there was Gold clemence, Blue Jean (could be turquoise though), and I think vermillion. They also had this odd shaped Kelly (looked rectangular and almost like it was a back-pack) in a emerald colored ostrich.

Also had two clutch Kellys: red suede and black box.

Hope I did not mess any of this up. Trying to remember the details is tough because my baby has not slept much the last two nights! So bare with me :)

Hi Jag...I saw a beautiful black Clemence Bolide 31cm with silver at NM last Friday..I was so tempted, but don't need it. Was it still there?
Also, Bearn wallets...black box with silver, blue jean with silver I think Epsom...two fold.

Hi lovehermes! I did not see the black bolide- it might have still been there. Wish they would get some more Kellys, oh yeah, and Birkins. LOL!

lovehermes/jag...do you know if NM by you sells alot of bags? Do you know if they move them swiftly or do they sit for awhile? Just curious.

hi jag...yes the black bolide was beautiful!
Kellybag...I know Neiman Marcus sits with the Bolides and Trims, but the Kellys and Birkins sell really fast nowadays.

The bag was fantastic! She purchased it at the Paris mothership about a year ago. I appreciate how rare it is to acquire matte croc and although it was beautiful, it didn't "sing" to me. I prefer glazed croc!

Going to SF later this week - which color was on the outside of the Picotin and which was on the inside? Or was it literally half and half on the outside?

Hello frenchiefan, the Chevre Picotin PM I saw was literally half and half on the outside (vertically)! I forgot to look at the interior, though. I didn't think Turquoise/Vert Anis was a great color combo. It would have been nice to see Turquoise/Fuchsia since those colors are especially gorgeous in Chevre!

Frenchiefan....I'll probably be going to H in San Francisco tomorrow and can check it out for you. When will you be here? Oting is right...the colors are vertical on the outside and quite interesting. Not my favorite color combo and it's possible they might have another color combo in the back but asking them to pull anything out of there is like asking for the moon....

Thanks OTINGOCNI - I think I saw a vert anis plume with BJ piping and it was pretty, but this picotin sounds less interesting - yay for my wallet!

Hi Shopmom - I'll be there Thursday (possibly Friday too since that's when new inventory comews in, right?). I have my 2 dream bags on order with my local boutique...but this will be the first H that I actually visit so I'm curious if I'll find something fun. I'm also looking for greens and possible a toile combo. Should I ask them on Thurs. what they are expecting on Fri. or is that tacky? Tx

It was really interesting and bright! But I think it would be hard to wear. You could only use it with the plainest outfit. I would have loved it in all turquiose. mmmmm

Hi Frenchie.....They won't know what they're getting in...they do put things out Friday evening so it's available for the week-end though. I know they had a toile/leather combo in the Plume (black and red canvas) and an orange 32cm Plume in Epson. Last week they were pretty low on colorful agenda's and wallets and that MAY be because they were going to do inventory and kept everything displayed on the low side. You'll have a great time no matter what, anyway. Ask for Jose (pronounced exactly that way...with a hard 'J' like Jello) he's really sweet while the other ladies have a little snooty-ness going on.

Shopmom, I totally agree with you about the lady SA's at the SF store. Most reek too much attitude while the males are much friendlier!
