Heading to Washington D.C. this weekend. Has anyone seen the inventory there? What about SAs?

The Neiman Marcus Hermes boutique is not bags, it is more or less scarves, really - Angelika has been there for years, and Balto Bag Lady recently was kind enough to confirm for me she still is - the Hermes boutique is in McLean, Va - try PM'ing Balto Bag Lady (who recommends Louise and Heidi) and I think Cavalier Girl? (sorry if I am wrong CG), I believe these two tPF member ladies can help!

The Fairfax Boutique is only open til 6 pm and is not open on Sunday. I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know what type of inventory they may have. In DC, they have a very limited selection of bags, mostly bolides, garden parties, like that. Maybe a Kelly, maybe not. I have seen some Birkins in Fairfax. Indeed the two SAs that have been recommended are very lovely to deal with. You can PM me for info.
Judy--> who may be in the Fairfax store Saturday herself!!

I don't know what their current inventory is in the Fairfax Commons Hermes shop, but I'll confirm that the staff is very friendly and helpful there.

I agree that the Hermes in Neimans, DC, at Mazza Gallery is mostly scarves. etc. When I was last ther, about a month ago, they did have a 30cm Kelly in Blue Jean, an Orange Jypserie, a Chocolate Victoria and several of the MM Picotins. I have never seen a Birkin on display, though they sometimes have a bag or two in the bag.

Hermes Vienna (Fairfax Square) usually has several Kelly's, though their inventory is low at the moment. They do have a nice Brown Kelly Lakis ($9500) and several Bolides. I have not seen a Birkin there for a month.

Heidi is great at Hermes Vienna.

Good Luck with your visit!

Hermes in Neimans in the Mazza Gallery does have bags. They are not always out but they do have them. I work with that store all the time. They do have a limited selection but they are wonderful to work with.

In DC Neiman Marcus store, the sa is Angelika. The store actually has more bags in the back and you need to ask what you look for. Angelika told me that 4 other H stores inside Neiman Marcus were closed this year and all of their inventories were transferred to the DC store, so the store has many unexpected things :)

I was asking about any clutch in exotics, and Angelika brought me from the back 3 nilo croco mini jige, 1 porosus croco mini jige, and then 2 suede Kelly Pochette! I thought that was very impressive, compared to what my local H store (BH) has in this category.

I also found that the inventory in the H store in fairfax square was very impressive and nice. I like the stock in that store. Too bad I was in DC for 2 days last week and could not squeeze any time to visit there. BTW, it's closed late on Thursday, at 8pm.

I'm brand new here, but when I saw this thread I had to post. I think the Hermes in Vienna, VA is great. When I was there this summer, Heidi was particularly helpful and knowledgeable. There was also another very friendly male SA, but I didn't get his name, unfortunately. It was a wonderful store and one of my nicest shopping experiences.

Hello everyone.

I wonder if the male SA you are thinking of at the Hermes in Fairfax Square is Keith? I thought he was super nice!
