He was quite young and given the thimble size apartment, I can't imagine he's retired. He used to call me from time to time when he got new stock but I haven't heard from him in a few years.

This is so funny! I always thought he was an older guy! He did have authentic bags and I think most of them came from Hong Kong. He once told me that ladies there changed bags like people trade cars LOL!

I've been on ebay for over 10 years and have used PayPal from the time it started. I have never had ANY problem with either, and they have come to my aid the couple of times I had problems with a seller. On larger items, I ALWAYS use my AmEx card using PayPal. That way, I have double protection. I love that one can now talk to a real person - very easy to deal with a problem that way.

Mamanchic is a long-time collector in France. I had good experience with her. Hope this helps.

*taking notes* i haven't had a bad transaction so far *knock on woods* and the last time a bad one happened via paypal (paid but was never delivered), i did not bother going to paypal (because i know it is going to be useless) but went direct to amex for a charge back. it was then left to paypal to recover that money from seller/payee. soon after that paypal asia pacific no longer accept amex. and with it, goes my sense of security.

i hope this is still related to hermes resale/ebay sellers topic as methods of payment acceptable - at least to me - will be a determining factor as to whether i would buy from someone. even if they have my grail, if they only accept paypal, i usually think twice.

Another extremely pleasant transaction to report with fancydiamond. I will be returning as soon as I can afford to!

The recommended sellers list is located at the Authenticate section. Here's the link Reputable Hermes Sellers on ebay

I have a question about Kaleidoplace. Why don't they state the prices of their items, and always write ["I]This product is not currently available for sale on the website. Please contact us for more information.[/I]"?

^Because those items are sold. Click on the "products", that's where she has her current bags for sale.

Smile It's-all-Goode Vintage Hermes
I recently bought three Hermes scarves from It's-all Goode, an online Vintage Hermes store, and it was a great experience. The scarves are well photographed with honest descriptions. No surprises when the scarves arrived. Jan Goode was wonderful to deal with. Very responsive to my emails and a fast shipper. I will definitely frequent her online boutique in the future!

I just noticed that a seller that i have had problems with recently managed to lose a negative feedback on ebay. How can that be?
