I know that lvlady99 on eBay has a great reputation with Louis Vuitton bags, should I assume the same for other brands?

has anyone dealt with hermes** before? the bag that gina b just posted looks interesting, and i did not see hermes** on the reputable seller list

i can only say good thing about hermes**. i have met her and spent over an hour talking with her and looking at her bags. she gets my vote 100% but that's just my experience.

For me, I know that Hermes** is an authentic seller, I too have met with her and she is a lovely person. She has a HUGE Hermes collection and also sells Hermes to close clients. I am still kicking myself for not getting that 25cm Gris Croc Birkin she offered me about 2 months ago! DAMN!!!!

There was a problem with her and a PF'er member, but I also believe that there is 2 sides to each story. Some very good reputable sellers always get the high kick when something goes wrong with ONE item, people also forget that out of hundreds of transactions ONE is bound to go wrong. All the hard work should not be forggoten because of ONE mistake.

I advise you to go ahead and work with her she is an absolout doll and has my trust and respect 10000%

Hi all,

I'm in awe of the amount of knowledge collected in this forum. It makes the looking process SOOOO much less intimidating.

I've never posted here, but I've lurked for several months, as I've been working up my nerve to get an Hermes bag. I've spent WAY too much time agonizing over model, color, etc., but your collected experiences have helped me figure out what I want, so thanks!

Anyway, I think I may have found exactly what I want at luxwear. Does anyone here have any experience buying from them? I'm a little nervous buying anywhere but Hermes, since I haven't looked at enough real bags to spot the better fakes.

Help!!! The thought of spending this much money on a good fake makes me feel a little sick.

Welcome gga! Luxwear is an excellent and well respected reseller. in fact, you will occasionally see luxwere here as she is also a member. BUt fear not, she only sells authentic and beautiful items, and is also a very nice person. HTH!!!

I had a good feeling about Luxwear from looking at all her stuff, but since Hermes handbags are not my area of expertise, I really needed to get recs from those who know this stuff cold.

BAGTERIA.....use caution!!! Just wanted to mention although I have had a successful transaction in the past, on 12/26 I did a BIN for a twilly....and paid immediately. On 12/30....I received an e-mail stating that "I sold this to my friend and couldn't access the internet...would you like a green color or a refund" -- I'm not happy -- this is very unprofessional. I let her know my disappointment and she referred me to a link how there was no internet access or something...which still does not remove the fact that she should have given priority to the auction itself....so just a note of caution.....

I just went poking through a high end resale shop today in Southampton, NY and was surprised by how many Birkins offered were fakes when I looked closely. There was one real red one in lovely condition for $8400 and I believe an apple green one also, but the black ones offered as pre-owned Hermes were truly excellent copies - at $1500. Even came with a rain cape, dust bags and pretty real looking cards of authenticity tucked inside, rather chilling. If this place had them, how many more are around? They are probably all over eBay. They had some Chanel flap bag copies ($485) and a large Gucci tote ($495) that I believe was phoney too.

FRH, is that the seller that sells a bunch of Dogon wallets (amongst other things) for ca USD 200 or thereabouts? If yes, she's bad news. Check the 'authenticate this' thread, she's written up there a couple of times....
