Perigord, I noted that you're a reseller of one of the items earlier in this thread, a couple of pages back. Welcome. But please do not give out descriptions. Thanks. Not on the forum and also not in private messages. There are scammers who come here every day checking this thread, and mind you, they are registered members here. Please help by not further enabling them in their stupid fakes.

Hi CobaltBlu--I looked at the fabric and it's definitely a diagonal grain. I cannot get a good close-up shot of it to show the detail but I definitely see what you are describing.

I am pretty satisfied that I stumbled across the real deal and I LOVE my Hermes. I am no longer an Hermes virgin...now I am totally Hermes' beee-yotch!

Thanks for the help!

its a pretty design, and of course you paid less than half of retail, and if you love it and it is in good condition, then it is a deal.... Please post more pics if you can.

Hi everyone,

I am new to Hermes ownership. I've been wanting one for years and stumbled across this one at a thrift store today--and based on my beginner knowledge, it's authentic.

All I know is that it's called Timbalier and was designed by Francoise Heron. It was done in 1961. The tags read that it came from Neiman-Marcus.

I paid $150 (US) for it. Can anyone tell me more info about it, and if I got a good deal...or a great deal?

Default poesie persane julia abadie hermes scarf

Hello everybody

I am looking for a “poesie persane” scarf in the purple colourway by J. Abadie.
http://www.hsci.hermesscarf.com/sear...?1=1&imgid=148

I did put a customer request via Hermes in London but they could not find it anywhere (it's quite old anyway).
I found this online shop but have no idea about it whether it is reputable and the items it sells are authentic

Any ideas?

Many thanks

Thank you for the advice and the kind welcome. I am not new to Hermes, but I am very new to The Purse Forum (about a day!) and I clearly have a lot to learn. Thanks for the note. I will take all suggestions and thoughts!

Like you said so yourself, the photo quality is poor. It's not possible to authenticate with these pictures. Not worth the hassle. I recommend you to pass on this.

As I recall, the seller said that the bag is old enough that there is no blindstamp.

Reminder to everyone: Please, please state what the item is when you post!! It saves time for the readers.

How about this watch? The seller has a good reputation but I searched the name here and came up with nothing.

cannot say with those pictures....sorry.....

Also, with a plissee, you have to be careful, if the pleats are not good, it looses its shape, and it is pretty pricey to have redone. you want a crisp one in the box, if possible.
