I see now from looking back who's listing this is. So, I am of course no longer in need of authenticating. But, I would like to know if anyone else could tell me......and notadginnj ....what color the other karo color officially is. I asked but Dressage Queen didn't know. Here is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...:X:RTQ:US:1123

P.S. I'm seriously addicted to Karo's, I have 5!!!! Oh, the shame!

Thanks.

comment: I searched for this but couldn't find it so I apologize if it has already been authenticated. I find it funny that people are now putting a link to this thread in their listings as this person did. Is this seller authentic. They have several things I like.
Thanks!

From what I can see - not much - I would stay away. It could be that on closer inspection the doubts are uncalled for but since closer inspection is not possible and this is all there is, I wouldn't touch it.

It looks too dry for my taste. Could be the lighting and the flash but the front right would really worry me.

Thanks Hello! Really, really appreciated. Hopefully my SIL will have a few more to send me in the next few days. I know selling a fake is a crime in Japan, but I'm sure there are loopholes!

hi- i'm interested in this bag but have bought fakes unknowingly before, i'm sure the seller is trustworthy but need a little assurance. this amelie bag has some rubbingon the silver lettering (hermes made in france) and i'm sure an hermes SA told me that the embossed lettering didnt rub off. am i mad to think it is authentic because it has a S stamp for sale or could someone just stamp a fake with an S. Hey i'm losing it but would appreciate some comments. thankyou - eBay item no: 220277656098

You are in the best of hands with fleursetcarlines, she's a true Hermes collector and a great seller and also lovely person.
The embossed print coming off a bit could be the reason why this lovely bag was sold as a 'sales' item and never made it to the boutique.
Definitely NOT a fake.

It would be MUCH better if your SIL could take her own pictures of the actual bag. That would tell us so much more!

Yes--it is normal. Every article on sale at Hermes is marked somewhere with the "s" letter.
