I use the bag everytime I leave the house, but I have to admit - by car. Except for grocery shopping. I always had big bags and am used to it. So - yes - it is a heavy bag and even heavier if you put so much in it like I do. But yet - I don't want another bag.

JPG Shoulder Birkin size: 40-20-19cm
Thanks very much , I went to my local H boutique and spoke to the SA and I decided to order a regular 35 birkin in black/palldium. I had a look at the thread you gave me and it has just confirmed that I had made the right decision. So, can't wait!

The photo you posted with your JPG, though, look super as the bag looks great on you. You must be quite tall. I am only 5"3 so the JPG will swamp me. From what I can gather too is that the JPG is quite a heavy bag. I use my bag all the time too and find it heavy enough. However, it was great to be able to have some sort of information on the JPG.

By the way, you have an Hermes blog? Is it possible for me to access, how do I give you my e-mail address privately?

hi everyone.....im new here~ just wondering ........i know it's kinda stupid but i really want to ask ........

why do they(bags) all hav waiting list?

does that mean hermes only make 10 Evelyn or birkin bags in a season and the ppl who gets it will use until they want to sell it and then the people on the waiting list can have it ??

or the waiting list actually means the makers of hermes bag got too many orders and so we have to wait ? ?

but u know some ppl say if the bag is made in say ( 1877?) it's price will be much higher, so does that mean the person who owns sell it bak to hermes ?

thank u ......ples dont think i m dumb..becus i really dont understand........

I have a question: How much would a 35 cm birkin go up in a year?

I bought one about 1 1/2 yrs ago, and I might have to resort to selling it (unexpected life change)! I sooo dont want to but ......

So if I bought it a year ago for $7300, how much would it be today? It is a 35 cm white, iwht silver pall hardware.

Hi everyone,
I'm new and am hoping someone can help me!! Is it true that on the Birkin's, that the distance between the "Hermes Paris made in France" and the metal plate which holds the round knob (to close) can be different? Depending on craftsman??
Thank you!!!

Dear friends, Anyone has picture of Birkin veau Epsom leather? Been trying to figure out which leather is this. Is it the hard scratch proof or the softest one?

^It is really too bad that the search function is down because there are members who own a Birkin in Epsom. Epsom is an embossed leather, very lightweight and a bit more rigid, so if you want a Birkin that will "stand" and not "slouch", this leather is for you. Oh--and it is one of the more scratch-resistant leathers available.

Have you seen this helpful thread? HTH!

Hi guys.. Do you have the pictures of Kelly Lakis bag?
I was told that Kelly Lakis has some materials; such as cashmere (wool), canvas and velvet.
Is that true?

I think the easiest is to take them back to the boutique where you bought them and they will explain everything to you and als tell you about the colours.

nakun, Chevre means goat. Doublure Chevre means, that the bag is lined in goat's leather. Sellier refers to the style of the bag, meaning it has outside stiching, which gives it a rigid appearance.
I can't see a color reference on the invoice. You could either post a pic here, or follow hello's suggestion and take it back to the store for verification.
