Hi fopduck, off the top of my head I can only think of one that is dogs only. Chiens de Chasse. There are some that have horses and dogs hunting, of course; there is also Gronland, which has Malamutes with eskimoes etc. I'm not the expert though, and I am sure some of the gals need only peek in their closets to be able to reel off a list!

I am wearing today, Greyhounds by Poret! He also designed one with Pekinese.....I'll do a quick search and see what else he's designed but I love his renditions of them....so lifelike! I'll be back, Janet!

Ack! Janet....I might have to get to it when I get back home since all my info is there and I can't access it from my computer at work! Is there a favorite poochy you're interested in?
Mine is the Italian Greyhound so when I found this one, I grabbed it! Now if I could find one with French Bulldogs I'd be a happy poochy camper! |

No pooch in particular - this is actually for a sick friend.. who is very partial to dogs and she mentioned that she was looking for a H scarf w/ a pooch motif. Thought this would make a good get well soon/cheer up gift!

Shopmom, what qualifies as a "vintage" scarf?

Vintage=more than 25 years old
Antique=more than 50 years old Well, that's according to most antique dealers I've come across. |

For Hermes scarves, try this definition:
Modern - has a modern 4 line caretag, modern copyright symbol hidden in the design , approx. less than 10 years old Vintage - has the copyright symbol next to the Hermes Paris , 10-30 years old approx Antqiue - pre copyright 40-50 years old

I was going to suggest +25 years as vintage but my satellite link went off for about 7 hours! I think marietouchet has given us a good guideline for classifications, although I know sellers stretch their descriptions sometimes...

:) So if I keep the scarf I just bought for another 20 years, it will become a vintage scarf? Is there anything on the scarf that gives an indication of the year it was designed/made?
