Thanks Hello. After collecting various twilly, pocket squares and scarf designs, I realise Bolduc is still my fav! I'll just go buy the remaining Bolduc twillys from my local store tomorrw before they dissapear too!

The twillys are often quite expensive. Be sure to recheck the Hermes website periodically as what is on offer changes often.

If you really really really want the Bolduc scarf, then I would ask www.luxury-scarves.ch for help to find you one.

How many different sizes do Hermes scarves come in? Have any been made that measure 17"x17"? If so, how is that size labelled?

^^ Clopin, the ones you are referring to in that size are the pocket squares or pochette. The Hermes website has a very small selection of designs but it's a good place to start:-)

I just joined purseblog after reading about Hermes scarf fakes. I was just about to bid on a Grand Fonds on eBay until I read Hello2703's caution in this thread about 2 previous ones on ebay being fakes. Please help....I'd like to get a Grand Fonds but cannot tell from current ebay photos which are fake. Does anyone have a photo of a genuine one?

Would any of you be against buying the same design in different colors? I bought Decoupage dark green in Oct and Brown/Blue in November. I'm thinking of buying other colors, but am asking if I am missing out on other designs by only buying the same design

Airmess.......I adore Cheval Turq and only have it in the pochette right now...BUT I'm planning on another in a diff. color way and when I see one in the large size, I'm going for that one too. I think if you fall in love with a design, then it's perfectly fine to collect other color ways....somehow the other colors make the scarf look so different when worn. Don't worry....just go for it!!!

This is a scarf I would buy from a reputable seller only because this is one of those scarves that is being counterfeited with surprising accuracy. Post any auctions you're interested in and we'll give you some input.

I have no problems buying the same design in different colourways. If you love it, then I say go for it!

I would definitely buy the same Hermes scarf in a different color if I truly loved the scarf and the different colors....but I would not make a habit of doing this as, yes, I think you will miss out on different gorgeous designes. I have been collecting Hermes scarves for over 30 years and have a couple of duplicates in different colors. Love variety and one's tastes can change over time. Hope this helps.

Thanks, here's an Hermes "Grands Fonds" I'm considering on eBay although I prefer turquoise: Item number: 300053006558 By the way, how do you spot the counterfeit ones of this particular scarf? Also, do you know if Hermes plans to reissue this scarf? Perhaps that's the best way to buy it as ebay is rampant with fakes these days. I can tell with most of them, but I'm stumped when it comes to "Grands Fonds".

Also, does anybody know if "Regina" has been counterfeited? I'm considering this one on eBay: Item number: 300053617275

Any advice you can give me on these 2 would be most appreciated!

Grands Fonds is one of the most sophisticated fakes. You practically have to have an authentic one next to it to see the difference. One of the telltale signs is that the colors are off and some of the intricate details are missing. PM me for details on what pics to ask and what to look for.

I don't know if Regina has been counterfeited but I wouldn't be surprised to hear it has been.
