Oh, that is so cute. It'd be handy to take when going for a walk, to hold a key and I.D.

I'm SO jealous of those of you whose gorgeous Hermes bags are filled to the brim with more gorgeous and colorful Hermes small leather accessories!!!

Back in 1971-2, I was at a Junior League provisional class meeting. At that time, I had an 18 month old child and was pregnant with my 2nd child. I was feeling quite posh as my mother had given me my first Gucci bag for my birthday that year, at least I was feeling that way until I sat down next to Cindy S. Cindy was single and her family owned a major chain of department stores across the country. They also owned a major collection of art - Picasso's etc. Cindy started cleaning out her handbag (VERY boring meeting - no guest speaker). I think she was carrying a Kelly - I remember that it was a shiny black box leather bag - and she started taking out all these fabulous, gorgeous small leather accessories. I was literally DROOLING on my Gucci! My own bag was contained an old leather wallet, keys, sun glasses loose in the bag, a Pamper, tissues, a pacifier and multiple restaurant packets of saltine crackers (remember, I was pregnant and had a toddler!). I wouldn't have taken out all that junk and had it seen in public for anything!

I've never forgotten Cindy's gorgeous bag, but especially all those gorgeous accessories and I'm STILL green with envy and I still don't have any!!! Well, I do have a very cute business card case and matching post-it note holder in glazed red leather that I bought at a museum gift shop in Paris, a nice red leather address book from a luxury stationer in Greenwich, a nice italian leather brown wallet and a Liberty fabric cosmetic bag so it's not GROSS, but oh how I still long for some Hermes in lovely bright colors in that bag!

Keep the pictures coming, ladies! They keep my dreams alive!

India, you are the sweetest, cutest thing. I LOVE how you share with us! Are you a writer?? If not, you should be--your stories, and the way you tell them, are just wonderful. Oh and BTW I am cracking up at your inventory of the Gucci bag...a Pamper.

OMG! This is the most dangerous thread ever! It's like chocolates and chips - impossible to stop once started.

Ok, no Karos, agendas, and small accessories until croc is attained and paid for.

That's a very unusal coinpurse, LTC. You do have the rarest stuff! A real H collector!

I love your rainbow, Kalliegirl. And it's my first time seeing Bleu Sapphir in Mysore. It looks so much like Bleu Brighton in Clemence. Lovely! May we have a close up of that in the Blue reference thread please. Thank you, thank you!
