Wow, thank you all for the sweet words! Made my day that I actually "inspired" a few folks. Hermes should take all the credit, actually. =)

24, gorgeous pix---you are SO bad for my wallet! Speaking of which, I am totally in love with your Azap.
And MrsS--love your new Piccolo--I've been eyeing one in Violette for my pens for a while now...and may now have to take the plunge! |

Mrssparkles, would you please tell me the dimensions of your Piccolo? I just measured my pen, which is 5" long, and my eye pencil is 6.25" long. Not that I need a Piccolo but it's adorable. I'll wait to buy one in Paris, though!

orchids, it was one of the members here who got her piccolo and described it that sent me looking for it at my local store a couple of months ago. And the store only had ONE piccolo, and in etoupe. (it has been sold since)
I kept asking for it each time to see if new shipment arrived, and my regular SA just kept saying no. Then one lucky day, I met another SA I had never met before, and reaslised she is the one in charge of ALL the leathers and colours at my store! She told me she did not even order another piece of piccolo, other than the etoupe one. I stood there in disbelief that my regular SA had not informed me rightly. There and then, my store manager appeared and this SA informed her what had happened. My store manager then promised me that she would search for one for me. I told her only if it's chevre mysore and that if it's rose shocking or rouge garance. (my poor regular SA was made to apologise over the phone, and I felt so bad because I am sure it wasn't intentional) That said, if your store still has that violet piccolo, grab it. Because currently, there are so few pieces around. Hermes is still 'testing' the popularity of this item apparently. 24, I just measured the lentgh of the piccolo - the exterior length is 6.5'' but the interior length is probably just 6.3". And you will need some clearance to be able to put pens/pencils in. So to fit a pen, no problem. As for eye pencil, it will just about fit I think. The good thing is, you can sharpen the eye pencil to shorten it The things we do ....
