A classic Hermes bag.

please post PICS and ACTION pics of you and celebs.

From what I know...there are 2 types...

Trim II (thicker back)

There is size 31 and size 35cm right?

And what about the gusset?

Please post action pics...its something on my list for exploring!

Love the Trim II with the gussett in 35 cm.
One can put just about everything in there except the kitchen sink?
The new style with the zip is most secure and fits well under the arm.
Love Love Love it

Well I love Trims....they are a great "grab and go" bag, and not fussy when worn. You can plop them down in the park, just about anywhere you wouldn't plop your Kellys, Birkins, Bolides, etc...

I think Trims began as the Trim I, the "Jackie O" classic - the flat one without any zipper. I think Hermes next released the Trim II, exactly like the Trim I, but with a gusset, adding depth, with no zipper. Next evolution is the Trim II with the gusset and zipper. (I don't know if the new Trim I-s have a zipper?)

I have a couple action shots, but mostly have pics of my Trims.

choc box Trim II 31 - no zipper

black box Trim II 31 - no zipper

toile/tan Trim II 31 - no zipper

Hi GG,

This is my Trim (35 cm) in Vibrato and chocolate box, which retailed at *H* for around US $5500 (sorry no modeling shots, I'm camera shy):

Dear GG!

Thank you for another great thread, you have a talent to start the really good ones...
I'm specially glad to see it - I'm definitely in the "Trim mood" at the moment.

My very first H bag was the TRIM II 31 cm. It came as a surprise gift from DH, what makes it even more special, 8 years ago (can not beleive how fast time goes...) However, it's quite special by itself - it's a combination of Barenia in Ebene and Dark Crinoline. The moment I've opened the box, saw this piece of art and smelled the "equestrian aroma", I fell in love. The fact that it came from boutique in South of France somehow added the allure, LOL.
I am a big fan of a combination Trim. - Leather with Crinoline, Leather with Toile.
I think it's really compliments the beauty of its design, at the sime time being the timeless classic.
Another favorite combo - Barenia and Toile. I love it in all styles: Trim, Kelly, Bolide, Birkin. I think that Barenia/Toile Trim is the most versatile, with both Natural or Ebene Barenia. My Barenia/Toile bag is the most perfect H bag that I own (I mean every stitch on it is perfect!).
For me personally Trim II works the best. I like the idea of gusset, zipper and two pockets.
The size 35 will only work for me in a very soft, slouchy leather (even Togo is too stiff for this style), since I'm on the slim side and this bag is really wide.
I know the 35 II in leather can come with a canvas lining and one open pocket, or without the lining with two pockets. I would like to hear from people who have the both styles which one they prefer.

GG, since you really enjoy the Jige and Constance, I think you would love the Trim!
They all are timess classic...

In case somebody is interested: NM in Troy as well as H Palm Beach both had a Trim II 35 in Ebene Barenia/Natural Toile combo. I think the PHW, but not sure...

Here's my Trim I, 31cm, toile/barenia, which I obtained from a tPF goddess (still so grateful!). Usually have my pegasus candena on it, which I think makes it perfect.
