Le Monde, the first color listed on the tag of the Ex Libris shawl in the pinks is Framboise, I believe. I have tried it on a couple of times and I am still thinking about it. I am also a fan of this pattern...Ms. Piggy, your shawl and Kelly are jaw-dropping gorgeous!!

Gorgeous, vibrant colorway! And thank you for sharing your pic with us... Could we also see it knotted... please If you prefer not to post a pic of yourself, maybe just 'an empty knot'? There aren't many examples of how this pattern looks in action...

Thanks MaiTai & LeMonde. The shawl is on its way to me, I will take an action shot as soon as I receive it.
BTW, bought the pocket size EX Libris Navy/black yesterday when visited the local H store. Will show it with the shawl later this week. I love the colorway.

LeMonde, thank you
The Gavroche is 'Vif Argent' in the black CW.Your GM CW list is great and the french translations are correct. Additionally Cypress= Cyprés, light turquoise = turquoise clair and lavender blue= bleu lavande. These are just translations and I don't know, if they are also the official names. I'd substitute Bleu Dur with Bleu Fort, but then again, it might not be called that either. Rose, gorgeous Pointu. crochetbella and dou.dou, congrats on your Gavroches! I second LeMonde, would love to see them knotted. ![]() Seton, very nice ensemble! |

seton, thank you for sharing your Ex Libris collection, LOVE the Black/White colour theme. Do you think it's possible for you to post a full pic of the Cream or Off-white 90cm silk twill from 2001. Thanks!

Thanks for posting the full pic, seton
. It's such a beautiful colourway inspite of its non-colour (in the literal "colour" sense). I love that the details of the carriage and scarf are so crisp and sharp. Magnificent! I really hope they reissue this again very soon as I love cream/off-white!! I can't do too much black, so might have to skip the Navy/Black/White much as I love it. ![]() |
