Bags to die for - Thanks for the photos. I've not seen the first one before.

You know, there are women out there who look like they are trying - bless their hearts, and in their attempt - they so overdo it. Then there are those (ahem - our MaiTai) who seem born with the gift of knowing what looks good on them, without ever overdoing it. Whatever lovely accessories or scarves, they are just the frame of art work after all.

Totally agree, toujours, they're missing a golden girl opportunity here. Maybe we should all write to Hermes making it known that we want MaiTai, or we'll cancel our SO's!

Hey - maybe there is strength in numbers after all!

(Note aside - I hope dear MaiTai is not mortified that I started this thread...It came from the heart. So grateful to the wonderful people on the Forum that have become friends, like family.)

Yes, MiaT, you've hit the Hermes nail square on the head. It's indeed a gift, and MaiTai understands the concept perfectly. Oh, I wish . . .

Note to self:
- with MaiTai's striking chic elegance as an example, and kind heart...
.... I know that I can look better and hence walk with more confidence, better posture. She makes it look so easy, so natural. A study in quiet elegance.

I remember reading a quote by Georgio Armani - (sorry if I do not have it exactly):

-dress to be remembered, not noticed.

In that sense, MaiTai's quiet elegance is haunting. (Of course, I'm sure one cannot help but notice when she walks into a room!)

I'll have to work on it.

Gruss Gott Frau Mai Tai:
Sorry to have missed you when you were in Wien. Glad that you had fun. I bet that you made the Graben look better than the Faubourg!
Let me know if you are ever in the DC or SW Florida area and I will arrange a visit to our local Hermes stores.
Mr. Pet Pringles and his Frau are the best and their recommendations are highly regarded on this forum.
Best Hermes wishes to you in 2009 Frau Mai Tai!

OMG my dear friends, what have you been cooking up? Your are just the sweetest and best, and my ears are still scarlet. Clearly I should be coming up with something now, but I was en route to bed... Hopefully I can think of something tomorrow!!
