thanks I hope so. I don't know how much I will dance tomorrow, probably not at all.

It's a charity thing that I arranged and most of the women never danced before. I am going because I am the chairwoman of the event and we are having a luncheon afterwards and I need to be there.

I hope I havent forgotten too much.

I'm glad the shoulder and back are doing good, fingers crossed for you.

Morning Ladies,

Hope everyone had a good night and nice food and drinks.

I have my group chairty today (with lunch) never been to this restaurant but it's supposed to be comfort food sort of.

Tonight, maybe omeletts. Ham and cheese, DH enjoys one for a nice light supper. I have some really good cheese and some good ham so probably make that or maybe breaded chicken cutlet and mashed potatoes with gravy. That's my two choices for tongiht.

Anyone else have any good ideas for supper?

Robee not long to go now till you go to France. I'm excited for you

More on Paris (and on my blog)..

Clignancourt Flea Market (also known as Les Puces de Paris Saint-Ouen), houses everything from horribly manufactured replica bags touted by the street sellers, to the most amazing furniture pieces and antiques. Stopping for lunch, there is no better place to have a fabulous relaxed meal at Porte de Vanvas than Le Soleil Restaurant. The restaurant offers amazing mid-range priced French cuisine, accompanied by interesting cheery interior decor seemingly furnished from the market shops as well.

Love how the service staff brings out this little hand-written black chalk board with the seasonal specials and goes through each item with excellent details. I had the pan-seared tuna with sesame (24€) cooked medium rare, and it was totally divine.

Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant gets packed even during lunch on weekdays.

Address is 109 Avenue Michelet 93400 St Ouen, Tél: +33 01 40 10 08 08.

Another outlet can also be found at 153 Rue de Grenelle 75007 Paris, Tél: +33 01 45 51 54 12.

Thank you Dreamdoll for sharing your lovely pohotos and for the tips - I find it hard to find decent food in Paris (I know!! Paris of all places!) so any tips /recommendations are very welcome! Pity I missed Le Soleil in Rue Grenelle as I was right there last week!
Montmartre is just the best

DD thank you so much for the wonderful pictures and descriptions! I am so happy that you had such a great vacation (and that I can relive it through you!) I LOVED Montmartre--I bought a painting there and it brings back such great memories when I look at it!

Beautiful, dreamdoll. The famous "le heure bleue" perfectly captured.

Diva - You seem so vivaious. Boy, I bet you do a mean tango.

MissMargaux - Sounds like you get to do a lot of wonderful work with local charities. I would love more time to do that. Love a good omelet but am rooting for the breaded chicken cutlet and mashed potatoes with gravy because it sounds YUMMY and I'm hoping you can share a pic.

DH and I are having a night out this evening - a charity event and then dinner at a new French restaurant nearby. Bought a new outfit (since all the nice stuff in my closet is too big ) for the occasion. Wish me luck!!
