I was just thinking the same thing, LQYB. Maybe we should urge arabesques to go into business so she can keep up supplied!

I just went through this thread, oh so lovely and beautiful in Aix. MaiTai, I love the "H it up" concept. Now THAT should be a thread in itself.

Tea, sablé, and H---doesn't it bring in a fresh breeze when winter's been going on for far too long?

Ha! If this economy kicks me out of my current duties, I'll know to fire up the oven.

Oh, everyone--this recipe is seriously messy (or am I a clutz?), so take off those precious scarves. My front was coated in flour!

I would like to share a little story with you all. I hadn't been hanging around the H forum that long, maybe a couple of months or so when I found a pic of MaiTai on the "world of Hermes" H.com site in the Tie a knot section. I was so excited that I'd seen someone I recognised that I posted a thread entitled "I've seen you MaiTai". I wrote about where I'd seen the pic and such like. And then panicked afterwards when I looked back at it, as It looked to me like I was a stalker!!!! Well I believe MaiTai very graciously took it in good spirits and she wrote that her first thought was " Where can we have lunch?". As she thought I'd seen her in the flesh. She then became my first friend on tPF and I was so touched by that. I will always be grateful to her for not being totally freaked out by my thread!!!!

And that Pic of you with your Picotin is one of the first I remember seeing of you on here MaiTai and it made me want a Picotin too. I was also impressed at this beautiful stylish woman who had posted herself for all to see. A GREAT INSPIRATION. I'm sure we'll meet one day............

Lavender reminds me of this place in Western Australia's gorgeous Margaret River wine region.

http://www.capelavender.com.au/index.html

They had great lavender scones at the restaurant.

MaiTai, you need to come & visit! Can I also tempt you with pearls from Broome? http://www.paspaley.com.au/english/home.htm I sound like a tour guide...

I've finally read through all this thread and hereby join the MaiTai fan club. I'm looking forward to keeping up with posts here and H It Up! I know I can't possibly be MaiTai (for starters, I'm short, round, brunette, and don't live in the south of France), but MaiTai inspires me to be the best capulet I can be and find my own style, and most importantly MaiTai is an inspiration to all of us to express the kindness and generosity that are the hallmark of the H forum!
