I absolutely love my black Kelly. I will definitely get another one (probably my next bag) in a larger size.

And then, I could kill for a 15cm anything (hemmmm apart epsom). Any leather, any HW, any color.
Here is what it looks like: |

My Kelly is my first 'proper' Hermes bag. I already had a Massai from the Paris sale in 2004 and two mini messenger bags but the Kelly is my favourite and is spoilt rotten - her own Longchamp pliage and just recently a VIP insert so that I can carry a damp umbrells and fountain pen with confidence.
I am a casual SAHM, mostly in jeans and I loved the idea of a relaxed or casual Kelly in a larger size, a prim formal little Kelly is just not me. I ordered the 35cm Kelly in the retourne style in gold with gold hardware. I ordered it in togo but it came in Vache Liegee which I had no idea about, got the bag in November just before I started lurking on tPF. This leather, VL is quite rigid but it is softening a little already and the sheen is just lovely in the gold, it glows in some lights and can also appear quite matte in others. My SA said to use it and not be afraid, it will develop a patina. I worried it would be too big but it is a perfect size for me, I'm just under 5,6. The shape of a 35cm Kelly is so different from a 35cm Birkin, for a Birkin, a 30cm looks better on me, the 35 cm Birkinis just too big and deep. I love the way a Kelly can take on so many different looks with the two styles and the shoulder strap as well as the different leathers and colours. |

Love this thread! After I get my Bolide, it's on to Kellys for awhile. My ideal Kelly collection would be:
Black box 32cm Retourne with gold HW Vert Anis 28cm Chevre with ph and 28 or 32cm Sellier Barenia/Toile Although the Bolide is my choice for an everyday bag, I think the Kelly is the most beautiful bag ever designed by any bag atelier. I try one on and it's LOVE! |

I am absolutely IN LOVE with my Kelly. At first I thought I was a Birkin girl but not any more! All I want are Kelly bags in all sizes and leathers!
Here are two of my Kellys so far:32cm Togo in Hermes Orange and JPG Kelly in Veau Evergrain |

^^28cm sellier Kelly is my absolute favorite. Thank you GF for naming your daughter after me...Considering how I am feeling about my ungrateful nieces at the moment, I'll put her in my will. LOL! The Kelly collection should be good for University tuition...for her great grandchildren. I'm not leaving yet!
