Default What is your BMI?
If you don't mind sharing, what is your BMI? Mine is 22.8 but I wish it were lower. Although it is in the healthy range, it I am two sizes bigger in my hips than on my top so anything that hangs longer than my hips (tops) doesn't fit right and it drives me crazy. Also, my upper arms never fit into anything anymore. I have always been a size small on top but now sometimes my arms don't even fit into a medium.

I believe 25 is normal...so a 22 is actually under what you should be.

Mine says 20.1 via that calculator... but I am not sure that BMI calculator is super accurate. I for sure could use some toning up in areas

Oh crap I'm officially underweight. Less than 19. Last time I checked it was on the border. I changed my diet a couple of years ago cause my dad was diagnosed as diabetic and my weight has been going down since then, but I really don't want it to go lower. I won't have any curves anymore.

Don't rely on that BMI calculator... talk with your Dr about an ideal weight for you. Obviously you do not want to loose too much weight, but it is good to be healthy and it is good to know where you should be weight wise. A Dr should be able to help you figure this out!

I'm with Megs on the 'I could use some toning up' bit! When I did it at the gym, I would have sworn they asked for more than my height and weight?

Yeah I think that officially it should include your hip:tumy ratio IIRC.

BMI's don't really tell much. You can have a low BMI and still be unhealthy. Also, athletes with lots of muscles have a higher BMI but they are obviously more healthy than a coach potato with a low BMI.

Mine is 16.9 but my doctor doesn't think I am underweight since I carry a lot of my fat around the hips area (not good for my health!). He encourages me to do a lot of cardio and exercises aimed at slimming down my hips area. That and eating less junk food!
