Default Ways to help an itchy bruise??

OMGGGGGG!! I'm going absolutely nuts here. On my birthday (almost a week ago) I ran into the corner of my bed and about a day later a blue bruise and a lump appeared. The lump eventually went away and the bruise went through it's rainbow of colors

Now the bruise is a red color with a white spot in the middle (apparently where I hit it??) and it ITCHES like crazy!!!!

Here's a picture to give you a better idea of what I mean:

(excuse my white legs...they haven't seen the sun much since it's been chilly here lately!)

I mean this itches to the point of where I can't concentrate on anything but the stupid itching! lol. I've tried cortisone cream and it didn't help since the itching really isn't the skin, it's on the inside that itches. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!

How in the world can I stop the itching without tearing my skin apart from scratching??

I don't know about the itching part, but Arnica is good for helping the bruise go away.

Try using epsom salts. The package gives directions on how to make a compress. Good luck!

Are you sure you didn't get bit by a bug in that same spot? If that starts looking like a target, get to the doctor asap. I have never heard of a bruise itching.

Go to the doctor for an itchy bruise??

Just rub in the arnica. It'll be itching because it's healing or because you got a bite on there
