Well I just "officially" weighed in and I may cry... It's 231.2, only -0.2 pounds since last week.

I had 2 drinks on Halloween, but other than that I didn't stay from my plan at all. I weigh ALL my food, so I know I'm not eating more than I think I am. The night we went out to sushi, I had one roll that doesn't have any rice and a cup of miso.

I worked out every day (sometimes twice), and burned 4200 cal for the week. That's not including walking around town, walking to the market, walking the dog, or the random exercises I do while I watch TV.

I guess this week we won't go out at all and I'll get a couple more workouts in... I don't know what else to do.
Don't feel bad! I know when I lose weight, I might go 2 weeks without losing a pound, and then one week drop like 7. They say lose a pound a week, but that's an average overall. :) Keep your chin up!

Good Luck!

Ugh the Halloween candy got the better of me again. If I don't have junk in the house I don't eat it so I am hiding it in DH's music room. Did a midweek peek at the scale this morning and I am still + 2lbs from my lowest weight the week of my wedding.

I'm right there with you. I was joking around with my friend yesterday (she's also trying to lose weight) and we came up with a new mantra to get us to the gym, keep us there, and keep the intensity high. "Kill the fats!" Kinda stupid, but it makes me laugh a little bit every time I think it and makes me push a little harder.

I'm upping the time on all my cardio this week and I'm going to try a couple new videos for my non-gym days (I got an afro-latin dance one that I can't wait to try). For diet, I'm going to lower my carb count a little more and see if it helps. And I'm thinking about adding that "a" supplement, but my diet is pretty lowfat in the first place so I'm not sure how much it would help.

Nothing showed up on the exrays, so soft tissue damage only thank goodness, but they even had to give him valium!!

Anyway, I have not weighed myself as have been a bit off the rails, but will this saturday.

Everyone is doing so well!
Sorry to hear about your doggy! I hope he feels better soon.

DON'T DO IT! OMG PLEASE DO NOT DO IT. Lower the carbs but don't you dare go to that "a" place. Please read the reviews on the accidents and DON'T DO IT. Maybe some good healthy fats, avacado, nuts, etc would be beneficial for you.

All I can tell you from my experience is that eDiets food delivery + my "A" diet pill routine (the one that's FDA approved but we can't discuss diet pills on the forum) has been the only thing that has made a dent in my weight over the past year plus. (And no, I don't work for either company.)

A few years ago I did 60 minutes of cardio 6 days per week and after 2 months I hadn't lost an ounce. I sat down and cried, I was so depressed about it.

Now I am losing weight VERY slowly, about 1/2 pound per week, but at least the scale is moving. So keep trying different things, you will find something that works for you.

Have you ever looked into South Beach? That's a very yummy plan.
My fiance and I did SB maybe a year ago... he lost a ton while I lost basically nothing. It's not very different from the way I was eating/eat normally. I tried Medifast while I was sidelined from the gym with a neck injury. I was doped up most of the time (read: not moving at all lol) and worried about gaining weight. I lost about 20lbs in two months (8.5 in the first week - so lots of water), but the instant I started working out again I stopped losing weight. I actually gained a couple of pounds which was stupid because you only eat 800-1000 calories a day on that plan - and I felt like crap.

I'm actually entertaining the idea of going back to Medifast and not working out for awhile... Common sense tells me that it's healthier to do what I'm doing, but the scale says something different... I mean I've been off Medifast for 2.5 months now and I've only lost a few more pounds and nothing for the past 8 weeks... so not sure at this point

Have you used it?

Like I said, it's been the only thing that's worked for me. As for side effects, you won't have them if you keep your fat content low. If you're going to eat foods with high fat content, yes, you will see the side effects.

Went for a nice walk with the dog today and so far am well within my calorie goal. I am having salad for dinner. I decided to reinstate my not eating after 7pm rule. I was lax on this for a while and I have plateaued big time.

Everyone here is doing so well!

buddy I hope your pup feels better soon.

Thanks VanessaJean, it's his last day of medication so we'll see how he is tomorrow.

Well I ate well yesterday but no exercise, so I need to get back into a healthy routine. Hopefully I will go for a walk today and do a pilates class. I am finding it really hard to stay focused, but will try to eat healthy again today, and put another healthy day behind me.

Good luck everyone!

My pup was a bit sick today as well so we didn't go on as long a walk as I wanted. Hope to do better tomorrow.

I have been really bad at getting on my treadmill lately but the factor of having to shower and redo my hair everytime is hard when I am in school full-time and work 25-30 hours a week. I am hoping to be better at this next week. I want to run at least 2x and walk 2-3x.

Ate a small bit of Halloween candy again but it's almost gone so hope to get back to healthy eating soon.

No but I know someone who did. She went out to eat and did all that special request, no oil yadda yadda. Well the chef didn't listen or the waitress didn't report it. CATASTROPHE! I feel like 50% of that is knowing that you can't eat anything fat so you don't. If you feel it works, go for it, but it just seems to weird for me.

Well it does seem to be the only thing that's worked for me. I'm down 27 pounds with this holistic plan of mine. But I can understand that things can happen and the possible side effects are not pretty. That's why the meal plan that I have delivered weekly is so crucial -- they're designed to work together.

After getting my meal delivery late this week, I'm back on track again. I need to dust off the Wii and start using it again. I'm also wanting to use my Turbo Jam DVDs, I really like them. I haven't been doing all these workouts because I've been doing walking only thanks to the pup I adopted in May.

Weigh in is Sunday, I'm curious to see how I do given that I missed another half week not being on my plan.
